As of May 4th I will be a Youth Services Officer for the Service Canada Centre for Youth. Basically we work as a career office for youth aged 15-24 (Job skills, interview tips and tricks, resume building, helping youth find jobs, helping employers find students, etc).

I'm a Junior (3rd year out of 4) in college, majoring in history and minoring in theatre and French. During the school year, I work for my Admissions Office as a Tour Guide, as well as a Peer Mentor aka a teaching assistant for first-year students. Last year I was the Peer Mentor for a music course; this fall, I'm the Peer Mentor for a history course, a bit more close to home. :)

Outside the school year, I am an intern-volunteer at my local historical society; during the summer, I am the Assistant Director of Summer Camps at the local center for the arts.

So yeah...I'm busy. XD

I work at a grocery store...part of the grocery department. Stock shelves, face up (as in straightning the items on the shelves and making sure the english side is showing), take customer's groceries out to their vehicle, bring in the carts when needed, etc

Worked at the grocery store since February 1998 (Grade 11 then).

After graduating from college in June 2005...since then, there has been no luck of trying to find a job that relates to the program I took (Office Information Technology). I would want to work in a library (mostly that more), bookstore or in a office. My dream job was to work at the library (Acadia University Library) here where I live, but that won't be happening at all and never will....why you ask? The library became a union sometime in 2002 or 2003, because now only students can work there and I have to be a student there to do that. In order for me to work there is, I would have to take 3 full time courses and I can't do that. I only do part time.

I work as A stockroom manager at a store called Gamestation in the UK
Pretty much all I do is manage the intake, output and organization of a stockroom filled with videogames/consoles.

I also work part time promoting bands (I currently don't charge though, Ot of the kindness of my heart/only way I can currently break even/make profit on promotions, I know it sounds weird but if you know the business even vaugly you'll know what I mean) which essentially involes me taking unsigned bands in the local area, and using connections I have developed over the years to arrange and promote gigs, this includes organizing the venues, bands to play, PA system and equipment etc. It's a great thing to do to being music into the local area, I used to do it in my hometown which diddn't get much exposure but now I work in the city it's easier to give the smaller bands a great deal of exposure. It is an immensly satisfying job to be able to stand at the side of a stage on the night of the gig and watch all those kids (or not so many kids as the case can be) and knowing that they are all having the time of their lives and that you played a major part in that happening.

so yeah, thats what I do :P
