Like him or not?

Personally, I don't see any reason not to like him. Granted, his whole being a Dr. thing came as a "wtf?", but considering how long he was off-screen, it's possible.
He was the center of my favorite PR mini-story. The Green Ranger losing his powers for good in late series 1/early series 2, and even when his powers were at an all-time low, he still wanted to fight.

Now, he wasn't my favorite ranger in MMPR or Zeo...or Turbo. Those titles go to Jason and Kim (MMPR), Kat (Zeo) and Adam and TJ (Turbo), he was my favorite in DT because I feel the character was a little more grown up than he was before. I felt like he had something to offer DT and that I wouldn't have enjoyed DT as much had they went with the whole "Dr. Edward Payne" thing.

but meh, after his Green Ranger days, he just became annoying..not like 'oh my god, why won't he just shut up' annoying but more so like 'oh my god, why is he still doing kiddie shows when he's like 80 years old?"

i did enjoy him in MMPR those...when he was the GREEN RANGER! not the sissy, pansy, emo, white ranger...>_> yes, i said it...he was annoying when he was the white ranger...

wouldn't know when he was stuck in his ranger form for half of the series...>_> lol..j/k but i knew he was in DT...never watched all of it tho, just the episodes of him being in his ranger form all the freakin' time! X_X

It's a good series. Despite that stuck in ranger form mess, it's pretty damned good.
