Lol he even has a mecha. Well I guess when marvel let them use the character to do whatever they want, that's exactly what they did.

Actually, they wanted to do a series more faithful but then mecha-craze came about so they got what they got. Toei's Spider-Man aired during the hiatus between JAKQ and Battle Fever J. So in technicality, Super Sentai got its mecha/robo's from SpiderMan. =)

that's the best spiderman series there is Go Leopardon!!!!
