Infinity ward has leaked some info on the new COD6. As im sure you know the next COD6 takes place again in the Modern Warfare world. Here is the leaked information

*Vehicles will be in MW2
*M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
*Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
*M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
*Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
*There are more unknown weapons that will not return
*New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
*New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
*New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
*Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
*Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return
*Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
*Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
*Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1’s campaign)
*All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
*All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
*New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy’s Intel)
*New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
*Solider customization for each class (and each country)
*Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
*There are NO bots in local multiplayer
*Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
*NO guest players online, 1 player per console
*Killcam save feature
*There is blood and gore
*Offline/Online Co-op
*Story takes place in the Middle East
*Role as US marines return
*Ken Lally voice work in campaign
*Release is set for sometime in November
*New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
*Campaign-only weapons

I got to say that all this stuff sounds awesome. I am kinda said the they got rid of the G36c but we are getting new guns so whatever XD

Had to be a nudge but that list was confirmed as false. I'm look for the article that confirms this. The game is still being developed but that list doesn't necessarily reflect what will actually be in the title.

I'm sure that some of the things on this list are false but I'm also sure that alot of the things are not false but true.

I like the new weapons that are listed and the ones that the list said there getting rid of are good. I always hated the P90....>_>

The game has officially dropped the "Call of duty" Title and is just now simply Modern Warfare.

Probably to not confuse us with the number of the series and the fact that it's a sequel.

It was announced that MW2 will have two player co-op! So that only makes it better! Veteran should be a cake walk then! >_>

And now they slapped the Call of duty title back onto it! Dammit Infinity Ward, Don't be afraid to take a chance.. Just cause it didn't have COD on it didn't mean it wouldn't sell. But they want so called "brand recognition."

Thread revival/hijacking!

Okay i'm sure anyone that knows about this game knows about the controversy surrounding it. Which brings me to the hijacking portion of the post. Does this in any way effect the game to you?

For me I was shocked at it but honestly I can differentiate between real and fiction so this doesn't make me want to run out and shoot anything up by any means.

None the less it set some people off (some even turn away) but does this make you want to give up on it?

At first I was shocked but in all honesty the game is rated M for a reason. Hopefully this will get rid of all the kids that t-bag people and call them unnecessary slurs.

Sadly I don't think that will turn them away it'll only make them want it more. Take a look at the forums on gamespot/gamefaqs most of them are under age and have the first one.

this whole shooting cillvians in a video game is no big deal to me. If you look at it in reallity a soldier might have to shoot/kill a cillvian to get to his terget. It's all for the greater good XD had to say it.

but still this is just a video game and it is rated M for mature people meaning not little kids. If the parents buy the game and then find out what's in it is violence then take it back to the store and don't let your kids play it!!!! don't try to get it yanked off the selfs and ruin it for the rest of us!!!!!

Okay so yeah I kinda forgot to post this yesterday... But I did the unthinkable... I beat it(you can't really be shocked by this!)

Moving on, it was pretty damn good but who honestly didn't think it would be?

The mode I truly love the most is Sec Ops! Why they didn't expand on that I have no idea but at least they said they will have DLC for it so I can deal with that.

OMG!!!!!

this game is one of the most epic FPS's EVER!!!!!!!! It has truly lived up to the hype!

I have to say the the airport lvl wasn't as horrible as the crazy soccer moms said it would be. The lvl really pushes the games story over the top.

and OMG Price is back!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ^_^....oh and the EMP >_>...

I have to say the online is grat and the lvls are awesome! I love the new weapons and the new perks and streak rewards ^_^....I got to het 25 kills so I can get a nuke!

I can't wait to get off work so I can play when I get home >_><_<....

i feel MW2 Is a great game, don't get me wrong, but compared to some games that have come out in the last, say half a decade, Its a bit overrated.
However the on-line mode IS second to none, despite European servers crashing constantly ¬_¬

okay so I beat the game last night and the ending was epic!!!!

no by far my favorite lvl was Loose Ends.......;_;....ROACH!!!!!!! and GHOAST!!!!!! >_>...but yeah the game played out really well and I loved the story. The only thing that I could complain about is that it was a little to short.
