Feel free to post your ideas regarding how we can have a prosperous board :)

All bitching and complaints can be shoved up your ass, or e-mailed to me...And they will be laughed at :)

What I seem to keep coming back to is advertising on different sites. And I don't mean other Tokusatsu based forums, but other places people may visit. Try and open up the world of Tokusatsu even further. I know this place called New Railway Modellers, and I'll advertise Fusion there. Of course, even if it backfires, can things really get any worse?

Another idea would be unique features that the other Tokusatsu Boards don't have. However, I have no idea what could be done on that level, but it's a thought at least.

Well suggestions. Like I was saying new ideas for the awards I mean it was awesome at first but the thrill seems to already be gone daddy gone. The love is gone. But in all seriousness maybe we should see about other uses for the awards and maybe even rewards for continual wins or something like that that way people will want to try and win awards? What else. We have threads for discussing Go-Onger and Kiva but it's just kinda free form to talk about whatever and what happened to using the spoiler tags? I forget they're there some days.

What else what else...I think I'm losing track*smacks head* Alright so my idea was what about talking about whatever the current episode is that has been released and how about a little bit more use of the spoiler tags? As for other ideas. We were going to have a Pokemon tournament idea months ago and that kinda just fizzled out but maybe we should try and have more group activities and not just video games but here on the board as well. I really can't focus my thoughts right now but there's some random ones for everyone to chew over.

I just had another thought;

A website. A website dedicated to Toku, with all the info about Tokusatsu and all that shit, with spiffy graphics and maybe even a music section with streaming (or downloadable) music. I mean think about it.

People will probably stumble across the site on a Google search or whatever, and, while being overwhelmed at how awesome the site is, will see a link to 'forums'. They enter, and see us having conversations and fun and decide they want to join. When they do, we be nice (as always!) and welcome them, and when others see this, they'll want to join even more.

In an effort to get this place more members, I have advertised Fusion at http://forums.uktrainsim.com alongside Dragon Knight. Chances are, I won't get much hits, but since I thought up a link to the old MMPR, I'm hoping someone at least will take a look at DK and come here to discuss it with us.

Edit: Here's a link to the ad: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=89580

And here's the exact same message somewhere else: http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=19369

See? I be making an effort!

Thats actually a good idea. Of course creating a site is easier said then done. Maybe if you were able to do one, you're idea would work.

Thats why it was a good idea when this board jioned Okatu Hero. Too bad that affilate didn't last.

I have neither the knowledge or the time to build a website.

:abakill As do I. I don't want us to be affiliated with a site that is a rip-off of a great Toku site, especially if the webmaster gets sued for stealing their design. =P

But a website would be good. Tiz's blog might help. :abakill

More or less every forum I post on I found through a mother-site, so to create a website would seem like a logical step, however with that comes the complications of investment in both time and cash in order to create a site people are going to spend more than 5 seconds on, thats the main problem I see "/

The last post before yours was on 12-18-2008.

Old thread is old.
