New news about the shout

Okay while I know we all love the shout (and it undoubtedly loves us too) it it's using to much of the server now sadly. So till things can be sorted out I'll have to disable the shout for a while.


I know this is random but the shout is both a curse and a blessing at the same time.

Most likely in a few days it'll be back but well see.

In the mean time we have forums to use.

Thats all I can really say.

Oh well, we gave the Shout a try in terms of using it for full weeks, but alas...

Not to mention getting a 503 error earlier (on my cell phone no less), yeah smelled a bit fishy...

And Jaysen is right, we have forums people. So let's use them to discuss about games, toku, shows, etc shall we? ^_^

That and damn you Jayse for beating me right to closing the shout and posting said thread! *shakes fist* XD

The shoutbox is slowly killing the board. All the activity was draining into the box instead of the forums.

Personally it doesn't matter if the shout stays on or goes off. I mean I love chatting in it but it's not the only thing in the world. :/

What in the world is IRC? Also I wonder how much board productivity has gone up since the shout went down. I find myself looking in more than just the usual threads I visited before :D.

IRC is know as "Internet Relay Chat". It's used by many sites such as TV-Nihon.

I don't think anyone on here would be willing to take the time to download and learn how to work the program, even though it's simple.

I think some of the newer versions actually fixed the wait for continue thing. If the download off the mirc website refuses to work, go look for older version download. You get the register screen, but if you wait like five seconds, you can use the program regardless.
