A Taste of Poison

The rangers are shocked when Dai Shi reveals himself to them in the body of Jarrod. Dai Shi calls on the 5 poisons to orchestrate the end of the Rangers. After a nightmare of Jarrod getting revenge on Casey, Lily is worried that Casey might be in danger. She puts herself out there and fights Rantipede, the first poison. RJ reminds her that they will only win as a team.

Debuted on Toon Disney on its regular day and time of Monday Night at 8:00pm E&P. ABC Kids likely debut date: Saturday, April 12 at 12:30pm ET/11:30am PT.

Well, I must say to much obvious wire action, and the motorcycle fight was so stupid looking it was painful to watch. Lily's solo fight was impressive. She may reign supreme is the most kicka$$ female Disney Ranger.

So, Theo is jealous because he thinks Casey has taken his place as Lily's best friend, or is he jealous because he has a crush on Lily and he thinks she likes Casey? LOL, who cares it is not like the writers are going to follow through. :p

Well, I think Theo thinks Casey is replacing him as Lily's best friend. However, only time will tell!

Can't Win Them All

And this episode pretty much lives up to it's title.

I've enjoyed the first three episodes, but after re-watching A Taste of Posion and now Can't Win Them All, it's almost a half like/half dislike situation.

This episode sucked badly. RJ's dancing and training were it's only saving graces IMO.

This is the worst rating I've gave to PR since sometime in MF. 1/5.

Okay review time:

Can't Win Them All

I actually am still enjoying this series, but there are still some things that pop up that I don't like.

GOOD

-Theo is turning out to be a major badass. I loved the way he was acting at the beginning. They are actually developing characters for once. What a concept!

-I loved the scene where DaiShi said he would make new boots out of Gekko's skin if he failed again - then turned to Camille and said he would do it with hers as well to which Camille said she hadn't done anything and DaiShi said "I know." Classic humor. Great job.

-RJ's training was really good. I love his hippie/stoner attitude and his training is top notch.

BAD

-I was hoping that with four episodes without going to this that they would keep it out of the series, but NO! They just HAD to say "let's ranger up" again. That is the WORST thing Disney has ever done with Power Rangers. "Let's do it" is good enough!

- Why the hell did Lily and Casey fight the MoW unmorphed for so long? If they are not going to use their powers they need to just give up.

-This episode had one of the WORST written lines in the HISTORY of Power Rangers. Then again, it was written by Kalish so I am not surprised. "Surprise, Rangers. I'm behind you." NO VILLAIN WOULD ACTUALLY SAY THIS!!!!!! The idea was to surprise the Rangers so why would he say he was behind them if he was trying to take them by surprise. It defeats the purpose of the surprise. That's like giving someone a gift and then telling them what it is before they can open it. Lame!

EH??

-RJ's dancing was just kinda weird and out of place. I think they could have found something better for him to do. This was neither bad or good but whatever.

Anyway, since the old forum disappeared, I will re-rate all episodes.

Total of first four: 9/10
Can't Win Them All: 9/10

Series Total so far: 9/10

So far this series is actually turning out to be very good so I am happy. Now, I will not say it is among the best until the end of the series, but right now it is in the running. If it keeps up as well as it is right now, I will probably say it is around the 6th or 7th best series. It would definitely be Kalish's best.

Gah. JF has really lost what it had in the premiere. I'm found the past two episodes hard to get into and DTNA was the same. I almost just stopped watching it, and if the series keeps this up, I'll just stop watching JF altogether.

I beginning to hate Casey. More and more I see him, more and more he reminds me of Nick.

Hell, this episode doesn't deserve a review from me IMO. 2/5. The two points are gained by Lily and her being this episode's only saving grace.

okay time to review two episodes.

For those that don't know, "Way of the Master," next week's episode, is up on Jetix.tv or you can download it from StarPoints RangerCast (http://www.rangercast.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2499) (just have to join the site).

Okay......time to start.

"Pizza Slice of Life"

GOOD

- The more and more I see DaiShi, the more I like the character. Rio-sama was one of my favorite things about Gekiranger so it is good to see that the PR counterpart is actually turning out to be just as good of a character. The way he treats Camille is great. It is almost like he is using her, but I think that in the end he will actually care about her, just like Rio-sama began to care for Mele. It's great!

- I also really like Fran. This character, though only really there for comic relief, is very entertaining. I like how she stood up for herself after the rangers left her at rush hour. I know they had to, but still - I am glad she stuck up for herself.

- The infighting in the DaiShi clan was great in this episode. I really saw Camille grow as a character because of it. I may not like Holly because of her role in MF, but here she is actually doing a good job with Camille.

- There was also some great humor, like at the end when RJ told Casey that he would be paying for the pay raise that he gave Fran to get her back. RJ is turning out to be a great character as well.

BAD

- One bad thing was actually in the writing in this episode. There was a mixed up line. When Camille and Nadja first fought, right before it Camille said that Nadja would rule "over your lifeless body." This line should have read "over MY lifeless body." It makes no sense the way it was written because if Nadja was dead, it would not matter whether he wanted to overthrow DaiShi or not.

Rating: 8/10

Overall a a good episode. I kinda expected Lily to get the mace this episode with the fly fishing talk in the beginning, but oh well.

Next episode: "Way of the Master"

GOOD

- GREAT!!!!!! The introduction of the three bracelets! We are getting closer to Kata, Rageku and Maku making their appearances. I am glad that we are using those as villains as well. I hope that when they are gone, we get to see an adaptation of GenJyuKen, though I honestly have no doubt that we will.

- Master Elehan in Human Form! I liked the Kensei in Gekiranger, but I thought that if they were brought over here to Jungle Force that it would be too much. I like that they are, so far, making them Human. See, I am not a Sentai Snob because if I was I would want the Kensei to be here in animal form. Change CAN be good, but some changes that have been made are horrible - like the sunglasses.

- Master Phant kicks ASS!!!!!! I loved it when he pwned the Rinshi's. I can see why he is a master. I hope we get to see more of him fighting in the future. Who knows, he may even get a ranger form since they have made ranger toys based on the first three Kensei powers (Elephant, Bat and Shark). I might actually like that change if it does happen on screen. I will have to wait until I see it on screen - if it happens.

BAD

- Flit is getting really annoying. Bae eventually grew on me, but there is something about Flit that is just so much more annoying. I find myself wishing that when Camille eats him again, she will just digest him and we never see him again.

- As always, there is some powerful bike that gets used and I never like the way they are used. They really are not needed. I hope this doesn't get overused like the bike was in MF.

Rating: 8.5/10

This episode was one of the best so far in JF. With the introduction of a very powerful ally and the introduction of the bracelets leading to the Kenma (Kata, Rageku and Maku) it is really moving this series along well. They are doing a great job this year.

Series Rating: 8.0625/10

This series is by far exceeding my expectations. This is turning out, so far, to be the best series Disney has been a part of since DinoThunder. Definitely already Kalish's best as EP. I hope this continutes.

“Pizza Slice of Life”

So far PRJF has merely been decent, except for “Can’t Win Them All”, I didn’t entirely care for it as it sort of ruined Theo’s character who for other than that episode I’ve liked.

As for this episode, it was good, best episode since “Sigh of the Tiger”. It didn’t exactly sell me on Camille, but I’ve grown to like her character more so now than I have thus far.

What I liked:
- The whole pizza sub plot was rather funny, especially with Fran in the pizza suit, but the best scenes of the episode (or at least the funniest) was where the ones where Fran kept spraying or throwing things on Theo.
- Dai Shi actually knows what is going on, both with the traitor and Camille’s feelings towards him. Of course at this point it is obvious he is just using her and her feelings for him to benefit his goals.
- The dialogue fits this time and is rather decent. That has been one of my grips so far with JF, if this episode is ANY indicator it is to get better this series may end up being better than I’m hoping.
-Fran grew a backbone.
- Naja had a point about Dai Shi and the way he handles things and I couldn’t agree more, yet there at the end it almost sounds like Dai Shi does have some sort of plan that he has been keeping to himself.
- The action scenes have been pretty good thus far (one of the reasons I’ve been enjoying the series) but they really stood out in this episode.
- RJ was once again great, even if on scene for a few second at a time.

What I didn’t like:
- Ok, how was she able to contact Casey? I always hate how villains are always able to pull that out of their asses whenever it benefits them, yet they never do it again and will just wait for them to show up if they need to call them out later on.
- Fran loses her backbone.

I give this episode an A-.

"Pizza Slice of Life" - It was actually good episode. I enjoyed it a lot. There are only two things that I was disappointed in this episode. Only one scene of RJ and no Flit! :(

"Way of the Master" - I watched it on Jetix.tv, but I'm not going to judge it yet until next Monday. Also, I'm so disappointed that there is no Elephant Ranger. :(

I have a feeling we will see Theo's next month since there will be no more new episodes until April 21st and then we will see Casey's the next episode. They were very close together in Geki so I have a feeling they will be just as close together in JF.

I am just wondering if we are going to see Casey do the "Shaakiin!!!!!!!!" thing that Jan did all the time after he met Sharkie Chan.

Way Of the Master

That was a nice introduction of Master Phant. I gotta say that was a great episode. Gosh, I love Camille more than Leelee to be honest.

So far, no problem and yes, I know there are some flaws in JF. So... I gotta give it 4 out of 5.

One problem is that we didn't get to see Master Phant to teach Lily how to use Elephant Jungle Mace and Lily's trainee.

Here's a spoiler below:

...

...

...

...

...

...

3 episode arc at some point in the season:

The Phantom Beasts have been brought back to life. Dai Shi has them prove their loyalty by capturing the three masters. The Phantom Beasts capture the masters and use the masters to create the Spirit Rangers.

The Phantom Beasts control the masters and call forth the Spirit Rangers. They look and fight exactly like Power Rangers. Our heroes are in for a real fight as they face the spirits of their own masters. RJ makes a device that will momentarily stop the Spirit Rangers. But he knows that something more has to be done in order to save his dad and the other masters.

The Spirit Rangers could be the end of our heroes if something isn't done. RJ takes the risk of destroying his father. Trusting his instincts, he finds that his dad was prepared if this should happen. Together with the help of his dad, RJ saves the other Masters from the grip of evil.

point 1 RJ and Dai Shi in a Cage match was cool but RJ should have fought stronger. He has the Wolf Spirit it could have aided him.

point 2 The Rangers facing their worst fears to earn Jungle Master Mode cool

point 3 THE JUNGLE MASTER MODE AND JUNGLE MASTER MEGAZORD WERE BOTH INSANELY AWESOME!!!

point 4 Casey after putting the SMACK DOWN on Dai Shi " Now who's top cat? " I loved it, the kid is earning his way to Red Ranger glory in awesome style.

Yep, 'spiritual', not 'spirit' for some reason. And apparently they were 'created' by the masters. Again not necessarily the masters themselves.

The Spirit Rangers look awesome. I'm liking JF. It seems much stronger then MF or OO. And it seems that the writers are giving the characters equal focus. And that's a good thing. I was bored out of my mind with MF and OO. but JF has been enjoyable to me. It's becoming Bruce's best season. And I'm glad he's leaving the show with a good season.

Okay, Friends Don't Fade Away

- Man, these villains just keep on sucking and sucking.
- So they are calling Dorinki "Sokado", eh?
- Were those paramedics? Hmm, for the minute there, it actually made the villains look like an actual threat.
- The scene between Fran and RJ was shippertastic.
- Wh-Where did the Wolf Morpher come from? I was it collecting in that box? Why didn't RJ bust it out when it could have been useful?
- That morph was sweet!
- Now that is real fighting.
- Laser Knees? LASER KNEES?!
- Yes!! Flit back!! Now this episode just got even better.
- Why was the Monkey guy attacking Lily?
- So Dai Shi has tap into Sokado? Whatever.

Overall, I'm giving this a 3 out of 5. For a "Sixth" Ranger debut, it was pretty mild. Didn't feel all that special, it was just, "Oh, RJ a Ranger now." And this Dai Shi/Jarrod nonsnese is really ticking me off. Is he an evil human? Dai Shi in a human shell? Both consciousnesses fuse together to form something else? Why am I asking these questions? Do you know the Muffin Man? The Muffin Man?! The Muffin Man?!? Why do I even bother? The writers clearly don't care, so I should I?

Ramble alittle, this gets a 3 out of 5.

RJ's lines (heck, EVERYONE's lines) keep getting more corny. Jesus, in the magzord, I cracked up when the following conversation took place:

Tams, I seriously thought you said "I saw him come out of the closet" instead of "I saw him get it out of the closet." Maybe THAT explains why people think RJ/Casey is such a good slash pairing...XD

Another thing I have to mention about this most recent episode- it was wayyy too easy for Dai Shi to be overthrown. Yes, we know that Dai Shi is in a weak human form, but HELLO? He's Dai Shi- the greatest evil? Shouldn't he have easily kicked Grizzaka's evil butt instead of being like "I'm gonna fight you...oh ok, you win." 2 seconds after he even saw him?

Kamen Rider Tams
06-18-2008, 09:50 PM
LOL, Casey is afraid of the closet. RJ's morpher is master of the closet. The closet can feel the love tonight.

Yeah they are kind of making a joke out of Dai Shi. If he was so powerful, how come these masters are kicking the crap out of him? Is a human form so weak that it can't stand the power of Dai Shi? As a human, I am offended. Master Org, resurrect to show Dai Shi human/evil essence fusion technique!

Seriously, RJ needs to mack on Camille. Although, the RJ/Fran stuff was cool.

So No 'I' in Leader

You know? There's something very wrong when you start thinking that maybe Nick wasn't so bad.

This... This has got to be the worse episode of Jungle Fury yet. Worse than Good Karma Bad Karma. Why on earth was Casey thinking RJ was stepping into his territory? What's Casey beef? So RJ doesn't tell Casey they change practice time by an hour and Casey gets all mopey? He gets mad because RJ starts taking over in battle and giving basic orders? Dude, RJ BEEN DOING THIS ALL SEASON LONG! RJ wasn't overstepping his bourndies, he was just doing what has done all season long, guide the rangers, train them, etc.

Now this is the main problem with this episode, why on earth is Casey the leader? He an inexperience rookie. A cub. Both Lily and Theo have been at the academy for how long exactly? And RJ is a freakin' master. By all rights, Casey should not be leader. RJ should, or at the very least, one of the other two. Casey has never once came up with battle plans or strategies or told the team to train. Never! Why are the writers acting like he has? It would have been soooo better if they had never brought up this whole leadership thing because for the most part, the team seem to pretty much been on equal footing. It's like they only made Casey the leader because their under the belief of "Red Ranger's the leader because he's Red." Again, if anybody should be leading this team, it should be RJ or the other two.

RJ never did anything wrong, he was just doing what he always done before donning the spandex so I don't get why he admit he did. And Why? Because he's overexcited about being a ranger. Dude, you had a MORPHER in your cabinet for god knows how long that you decided to bust out now of all times! Yeah, I'm not even touching the whole Dai Shi thing. While I'll admit the the final scene with Fran and the others was cute, it just didn't save the episode.

This gets a 1/5.

What a crappy episode. RJ, the villains, Mao, Theo and Lily were the only good parts of it. Casey's such a little bitch. I miss Mack.

What a crappy episode. Dai Shi has defeated Renshi before, so what made him so weak that he couldn't do it again? And Camille is starting to look a lot stronger than Dai Shi, sad to say >_>

The best things about the episode were, as others have mentioned, RJ and Master Mao. I sort of liked Nick, but now I'm starting to see him as better than Casey. I wish Power Rangers would quit the whole storyline with "I'm the Red Ranger, I feel helpless and useless, but oh wait! I'm a leader lol let's go kick bad guy butt!" It's been overdone WAYY too many times, in both full-scale storyline and subtle hinting.

A very nice shout-out to Wild Force with Camille's Nexus line.

Dai Shi didn't get weak, he was intentionally trying to put his life in danger so he could summon the Zokato (whatever way you spell it) power.

After seeing and, despite being a beat by beat translation of Lesson 27 (Even ancient Camille had the same hair style as Mele), this was easily one of Jungle Fury's better episodes. Leaps and bounds compared to that godawful No 'I' in Leader. I don't care what anybody says, Flit. Is. Awesome. I really enjoy Werewolf!RJ rampange through town and even the RJ vs. Wolf Spirit fight wasn't as intense as Gou vs. the Werewolf, I like it for what it worth. Even the final scene where everybody was trying to smash the fun was fun. And I'm calling it, Flit going to be RJ's business partner when JF over after Camille's curse breaks off on him.

Overall, I give this a 4/5.

This episode was MILES better than No I in Leader. No whiny Casey, Flit was adorable, and Camille was actually sort of nice in this episode.

I know I'm wrong, but what if Flit turns out to be Dominic? I mean, think about it- he battled Camille, so he's obviously a warrior. What if Camille decides to release him from his prison/turn him back into a human? It's a hunch, but probably nothing more.

Side note about last episode-
The fact that RJ liked the chocolate anchovies was absolutely disgusting. But then again, RJ is badass and makes anything he does seem adorable. ;)

Too lazy to do a full review so I'll say this, I really liked this episode:

- I like Dominc. He's fun and likeable; something I can barely say for half the JF characters.
- I like the FranDom scenes.
- Casey still continues to suck, but his apology to Dominic made his character likeable for a bit.
- As meh as the Overlords are, I like Grizzaka's plans with the Phantom Beast.
- Dai Shi continues to be the most incompetent villain in years suffering an identity crisis. He thinks he's human now? How anyone can think he's the best villain Disney has come up with I'll never know.
- I am seriously getting tired of them playing the JF theme near the end of the battles, both the lyrics one and the instrumental one.

3/5.

Arise the Crystal Eyes

Oooookay

- RJ's explanation of the Crystal Eyes was expositonrytastic. It's nice to finalling get to know what the Crystal Eyes are after, er, "building" up to them.
- Hey, Dai Shi kicked Grizzaka out. There's a slight hope of Dai Shi being taken seriously.
- So, Camille does the crossowords? How do they get the news paper?
- So Casey figures out Jenning's animal spirit is a Dolphin? Now I wonder what a Dolphin Spirit zord would look like. Nice that they explain a little about the animal spirits.
- Yeah, Casey, walking up to someone and demanding that you give them their work looks pretty stupid. Now, if you had been morph....
- Ugh, did they really need to waste our time walking the Rangers fight Rin Shis?
- Why was Casey trying to keep Dai Shi from going after Jellica instead of running after her himself? Does it really matter who revives the Phantom Beast?
- I've-I've got to ask this again, what exactly is Zokato power? All Grizzaka and Dai Shi do is scream it and get covered in a bad cloud and, according to RttN, give you the ability to fly.
- You know, I wonder why Casey didn't try pulling out the Strike Rider on Grizzaka?
- ..... So, instead of utilizing teamwork to take down the Grizzaka, Casey demands Dominic’s morpher, and combines his weapon with it to take down Grizzaka? Amd Casey's answer is "I didn't know until now." That ridiculous. And "The rhino power made all the difference." But Dominic had been in this fight the entire time. Also, shouldn't have Dominic demorphed after he gave Casey his morpher?
- "Rhino Steel Warrior Mode", I hope that's the official name.
- So they combine all the zords and just call say "Stampede!"? Why not call it the Jungle Master Ultrazord or something?
- God, Grizzaka was such a Morticon clone in this episode.
- So, the Rangers have the other five eyes and Jellica only keeps the three she already had? Well, this seem pointless.

Not much can be said about this episode. Fran and Flit basically make a cameo and apparently, Flit afraid of Dai Shi. It's Okay.

wow I can't believe I never posted here......>_>...I wonder why.

Well I have been watching JF on and off and I must say that I really...don't like this series but I can say that about the past like three series of PR.

Now I havn't seen gekiranger but I mean come on the stuff in JF is just corney. The characters are not very well developed and it seem that they don't really have to try to get there powers. I mean they just...well they just kinda get them theres no real challange.

I think RJ's story was the best so far and thats saying something. also some of these episodes seem to be just thrown together.......

so my take on JF...well not good but will I still watch it?.....yes.....sadly

Wow as shocking as it is it was a pretty good episode. O_O And it looks like the Spirit rangers and here to stay and with morphs too (in the opening credits).

The fight after the masters gained the power was pretty damn cool. Best fighting had to go to RJ vs Camille and Unihorn vs the masters.

Well done episode!

:abakill Well I haven't been reading this thread, but I just have to post. It took a while, but I just got caught up in JF. It's getting so epic! I just LOVE the Spirit Rangers! It will be kind of weird if the Masters actually morph, because they're a little old to be Rangers. I kind of hope they just keep the whole spirit projection thing. The opening doesn't actually show the Masters, just a little scene that kind of looks like a morphing sequence. So we'll see what happens.

Anyways, I've enjoyed this show from the beginning. The characters are getting pretty good development for PR, even though some things are a little rushed. I loved RJ's storyline as he became a Ranger and fought to control his animal spirit. He's definately a much better character than Gou, if you ask me.

Dominic is cool, but I think it should have taken more than one ep for the Rangers to trust him enough to let them join them. It seemed WAY rushed, and one time of saving Fran isn't really enough to show that he's more than just a goof-off. But in general, I've come to like him as a character and a Ranger.

Lily is just as great as ever. She's so cute and a fun character, and she's really the heart of the team (even more than Ran was IMO). She's proven that female Rangers can be just as strong as male Rangers, and she's not shoved aside as much as some other girls on single-girl teams have been.

Still gotta love Theo. The episode with his twin was cool, even though it was probably mainly to show that Disney's good with the whole "one actor playing two characters in a scene" thing. I was expecting to have an episode just like the one where Retsu was sucked into a mirror, and I'm glad they didn't do that.

I'm starting to like Casey too, although he's still not high up on the list of best Red Rangers. But he tries, and he leads pretty well, and I think he made the right decision to save that archaeologist with the risk of losing the Eyes. It proves he has good instincts, which is good for a leader.

So all-in-all, I'm still really enjoying this show, and I look forward to seeing more of the Spirit Rangers, as well as everything else. ^_^ :abakill

"Path of the Righteous"- I'm so lovin' this title. Probably the best we've had all year. Everything in the description sounded cool, up until the last part. I still don't think Casey deserves his stripes. In my eyes...he's still a Cub.

"Now the Final Fury" ...Hate the title. Period.

The finale sounds a lot like the NS finale...which is a plus in my book. I loved the NS finale, and hopefully JF does a good job on it's final moments.

Okay so I just got done watching the new episo-...excuse me, piece of recycled crap called an "episode" of JF. I've never been a fan of clip shows, but normally I can stand them. I found myself hating this episode completely. Now, I have loved the show so far - but this was the worst episode of the entire series.

First off - the whole game show thing was completely random and stupid. They must have been on acid or something when they came up with that idea. Sure, it's a new twist on the old, tired, clip show formula, but it does NOT work!

Second - they said that the rangers had to win to save the world. Well, they lost and because they're idiots and made a loophole for Casey, he could morph when RJ sent his visor (still hate those by the way) through and that's it? Just a horrible story.

I'm sorry if people like this episode but it is, without a doubt, the worst episode of the show ever and DOES rank with the worst all time PR episodes.

Rating - F! Complete and total failure! Here's hoping the rest of the series is better than this. The chances of that are good.

The Spirit of Kindness

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MDZ9RXIK

Credit to Blazeking from Rangercast for encoding it.

- The rangers are afraid of rats?
- Hah, they still acknowledge Casey as leader and RJ as the mentor.
- Good God were Runner and Burgrat annoying.
- Wow, did they just acknowledge Theo's height?
- Hey, a White Tiger Zord.
- Call me heartless, but I felt nothing when Whiger died after saving Casey and helping save the others. He was pretty much just your regular run-of-the-mill MotD so I don't get why they were trying to make him look sympathetic? Waspicable was more sympathetic than this guy.
- I have to be honest, that was one sweet insta-morph Casey had.
- Ugh, again with the roll call. God, these rangers are more roll call happy than the Abarangers teaming up with B-Squad.
- Oh and now Scorch and Snapper are plotting. *Yawn*

Episode was alright. For once, I didn't want to punch Casey in the face. How about that? I give a 3/5.

Just finished playing catch up on jungle Fury from the Spirit Ranger arc to episode 28.

All and all the Spirit Ranger arc was pretty good, not as great or drawn out as I was expecting but good none the less. It was cool seeing RJ fighting along side his father. Although when he thought he destroyed his own father I would have thought it would prove better for it to have been drawn out for more than ten minutes, at the very least have it go on for one or two episodes.

As far as the Spirit Rangers hanging around to help out it only means they’ll be in the finale and thus far that theory is correct. Of course we all already knew that. That fight with them helping the Rangers and that roll call was pretty sweet though.

Plus they did a good job showing that Dai Shi’s hold over Jarred isn’t that strong after all. Yes we’ve gotten little hints of this up till now, of course that was just Master Mao talking to him and seeing Jarred’s past. This however is more solid prove as he actually defended one of the masters from getting destroyed and was actually shocked by his own action.

All in all the Spirit Ranger arc was pretty good given how Jungle Fury which started out good has started to turn to being a decent at best series . I give it an A. Had it been drawn out more or focused a bit more on the Spirit Rangers I would’ve added the +.

Now episode 26, it is sad that they were doing a good job with a good stretch of episodes then they give us this, now clip shows for the most part are never good (there are a few exceptions) BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS!!!?? I don’t even classify this as an actual episode. It is clearly one of the worst episodes there was. I would much rather watch “The Last Ranger” than this cause even IT was a better clip show than this. Shoot even “Insomnia” was a better clip show.

It is not worthy of even getting a grade, not even an F.

Episode 27 was ok, it’s not so much as it was a bad episode but that it revolved around Casey and him teaching students when he is still just a cub himself in my eyes. He has yet to do anything in this series thus far to show me that he has grown since Pai Zhuq. Which is why I still wish they had made Lilly leader like they made GekiYellow leader in GekiRanger or hell have RJ be the leader, or ANYONE other than Casey.

On the plus side the action wasn’t that bad and Whiger’s voice started to grow on me. Of course I did see it kind of odd, if he had no tiger spirit to charge the cannon, or not enough anyways then how did he have enough to use Jungle Mater Mode? Unless they are different on some way in which I’m an idiot for not noticing it.

Either way I give this episode a C+. With the action scenes and any part not involving Casey being the saving graces.

Episode 28 was actually pretty good. The two characters that I’ve always had problems with were Dai Shi and Casey. While I still can’t stand Casey Dai Shi has been growing on me. Plus once again in this episode the action was pretty good, especially the unmorphed fighting and that final fight before the Zord fight was awesome. The Zord fight did seem a bit rushed and rather pointless. It was clearly there to fill time space.

The whole showing kindness to Whiger did seem random and stupid. He is your enemy if you were to save him, then why not try to save all the other monsters you’ve fought rather than blow them up? It makes no sense. Then Whiger’s helping him, that seemed rather random. Don’t get me wrong the fight between the two tigers and Phoenix Camille was great, but Whiger’s act of kindness realizing Dai Shi was his enemy was far to random. Besides that he did say he’d accept ANY punishment, it’s his own fault those words came back to bite him in the ass.

Either way this episode was rather decent so I give it an A-.

Path of the Righteous and Now the Final Fury are both available for download on RangerCast (links also at RangerBoard).

"Path of Righteous"

Well, I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the description, but damn, to say it was good would be an understatement. By Power Rangers standards, this was fantastic. Camille actually loves (not likes, loves!) Jarrod, Theo 'likes' Lily, more on Jarrod's backstory, the Master Mao/Casey argument (that rocked!), even Casey vs Dai Shi ("I AM HIM!!"), Rangers, Camille and Jarrod vs. Scorch and Snapper, Jungle Pride Stampede with Lion and Chameleon vs Scorch (complete with an American made cockpit to cover up for those titties of Meles) and Jarrod and Camille deciding that they've "done enough". It was impressive, even with the sparky explosions.

I give it a bra out of a thong. Can't get better than that!

"Now The Final Fury"

Can't be arsed reviewing. Great finale, lots of action, Spirit Rangers, Lily and Theo are having sex, as are Camille and Jarrod and Fran and Dom. That's a lot of sex.

Almost there, but not quite. I give it a GekiYellow out of a Go-On Silver.

Oh well, goodbye Jungle Fury. It's been a hell of a ride. One of Disney's best. I enjoyed it and will miss it dearly.

But looking into the future, RPM is on the highway and it'll be interesting to see what this new EP has to offer, whoever they are.
