CHAOS!

Sparks are emitting and flying out of the consoles as red lights are flashing like crazy and the alarm is blaring like the loud roaring of a creature so vile and despicable, that it even scares the Cthulhu; a man, tall and a ghostly pale skin tone is running around the controls, pressing button after button and adjusting switch after switch, trying to gain control over the TARDIS.

Or destroying the controls,

“Doctor?!” a woman’s voice calls out from the noise of small explosions that happens in the control room,

“What’s going on?!” she shouts towards the tall man who’s running from panel to panel, the tall man appearing to be around the mid 20’s of age; with shoulder length black hair that is partly curled and 2 white streaks running through his hair,

“Silence Tarja!” the man shouts back, sounding annoyed while trying to fix the problem on his own; the young woman slowly walks a bit further forward but immediately grabs hold of a railing, trying not to fall down as the TARDIS starts to shake and rumble out of control...

Vampire... Who?
Episode 01
<><><>

Another short explosion erupts as the Doctor jumps a bit away, still trying to locate the problem, but it almost looks like the TARDIS is working against him,

“Come on girl, don’t you do this to me!” he shouts, anger in his voice as he slams his balled fists upon the control panel, a wrong move which causes another small explosion to launch the Doctor off of his feet and crashing dangerously back-first against the wall,

“DOCTOR!” the young woman, named Tarja, cries as she runs towards his aid; shocked and a look of worry upon her face as she tries to wake the Doctor up by shaking, but to no avail,

“What is going on...?” she asks herself as she tries to get him back on his feet; the Doctor slowly opens his eyes, a deep gray blue color that looks towards Tarja with fear, almost telling her something which she can’t figure out.

A groan emits from the Doctor as he closes his eyes and shakes his head, trying to shake off the numbing daze, while slowly re-opening his eyes again, being a deep brown of color, almost being near black,

“Get away from me Tarja...”
“But Doctor I...”
“Very well then, stay here I don’t care!” he shoots back, still in anger as the alarms continues to blare out loud, the column of the TARDIS glows with the intensity of a thousand suns, it releases the glow like an explosion of energy; the light being so strong and bright that both the Doctor and Tarja have to shield their eyes while on the outside of the TARDIS, the light can be seen through the windows of the police box...

That is, if anyone could see it for that matter while the police box rockets through the streams of time...

<><><>

The stars are sparkling ever so brightly in the never ending blackness of the skies, as a lonely peasant is seen walking over a sandy road, looking to the left and right while only carrying a lantern with a burning candle inside with him,

“Yar, that thar dum-dum wife makin' me do alla 'er work too-day, oi bloomin' well 'ates 'er sometimes oi do...” he mutters towards himself a bit annoyed as a sound suddenly startles him in the night as he jumps up in fright, quickly shining his lantern towards where the sound came from,

“Oh... Oh who’s there...? Come... Come out... Don’t scare ol’ Danny-boy here, so c... co... Come out... please?” the peasant asks with a thick sounding accent, his hand shaking as he tries to keep the lantern steady, while the blowing wind threatens to put out the candle within it, which does little to help his nerves,

“Come out…or I’ll come in after you!” he cries. The outburst scares out his would-be predator, as an owl takes flight and disappears into the abyss; Dan breathes a sigh of relief while wiping a bead of cold sweat from his brow and after a moment of recollection, he continues on his way.

The silence of the night is broken by a grinding noise unheard before by any mortal; Dan freezes in fear as his heart skips a beating,

‘Not again. Who be it this time? By gum, this sound be nothin’ like anything God could ever put on this Earth. Mayhap it be Black Peter, come to feast on me…he shan’t have me!’

The wind, howling like a wolf towards the full moon, twirls around and around, shaking up the leafs from the ground while creating a vortex with a screeching sound emitting from within, almost like a banshee screaming in pain and terror as a bluish shape spins in and out of the tornado of winds, almost spinning out of control as it crashes through the woods and tearing down trees like only an ax wielding psychopath can do; the blue monolith like object races through the forest, heading closer and closer towards the with fright filled peasant...

BAM!

His eyes shielded by only his arms, Dan slowly lowers them down, still with the look of fear dancing upon his face,

“Wh... Wha be that?” he asks to no one in particular while looking towards the blue colored police box which has crashed into the ground just barely standing directly in front of him; the smoke rises from the TARDIS while being stuck in the sand, almost dug in half way...

<><><>

Inside the TARDIS at that exact moment, smaller eruptions of sparks continue to fly out of the controls along with some smoke rising; the harsh and sudden crash landing having knocked both The Doctor and Tarja up against the library part of the TARDIS; the latter being the first to slowly regain conscious,

“Wh... What happened...? Doctor?” Tarja asks herself as she shakes away the numbness from her head, clearing her thoughts as she looks around a bit, spotting the Doctor lying against the book case with some of the books having falling all around and upon him; her eyes shoots wide open,

“DOCTOR!” she shouts as she makes her way over towards the Doctor, checking to see if he is still alive or not; she slowly places both her hands upon his chest, feeling both hearts beating as she sigh a breath of relief,

“Thank god, your alive...” she says towards no one in particular, but also being glad that the Doctor told her in his previous incarnation that he has two hearts instead of one; she slowly extract her hands from his chest while sitting kneeled, looking at her friend.

Looking towards him feels like an eternity towards her as she watches the Doctor breathing slowly, almost as if he is sleeping the sleep of the dead; but then as if sudden, the body of the Doctor starts to tense up, almost as if he is trying to awake from a bad dream or a nightmare as panic and fear slowly becomes visible upon Tarja’s face,

“D... Doctor..?” the young woman from Finland asks while slowly extending her hand towards the shoulder of the Doctor, only to witness the lips of the Doctor slowly opening,

“Gimme the ring, kissed and told
Gimme something that I missed
A hand to hold, wild and what it seems
Kill the king when love is the law,
And we’ll turn ‘round...
Gimme dream child” the Doctor strangely sings while strangely stretching the fingers on his left hand out, like a corpse waking up after having slept for centuries had passed,

“And do you hear me call?” his eyes shoot open like how a vortex opens and rips time and space apart; his eyes a ghostly white before turning a dark brown color once more, he suddenly jolts forward and sits up straight like a risen corpse,

“Sing... Sing...
Hey now, hey now now. Sing this corrosion to me...
Hey now, hey now now. Sing this corrosion to me...
Hey now, hey now now. Sing this corrosion to me...
Hey now, hey now now. Sing this corrosion to me!”

Afraid by the Doctor’s strange behavior, Tarja backs away a little bit while staring with fear in her eyes towards her friend, singing and acting like some sort of vampire or a zombie; she finally manages to find the courage in herself again as she moves over towards the singing Doctor,

“DOCTOR!” she shouts out loud as she slaps the palm of her hand against the side of the Doctor’s face; he’s snapped out of his bizarre singing only to look directly at his younger companion, anger reading clearly in his near black eyes, an anger that seems so unnatural that it would even fright and kill the most feared demons from the underworlds themselves...

PATS!

The sound of a hard slap echoes through the TARDIS as Tarja is on her knees, her right hand touching her cheek as some tears almost fall from her closed eyes, all the while with the Doctor glaring down at her with eyes that reads no emotion; a grimace smile crawls over his lips,

“Never again Tarja... YOU HEAR ME!”
“I... I had to! YOU WERE SUFFERING FROM YOUR POST-GENERATIVE TRAUMA!” Tarja shoots back with defiance in her voice and anger in her with tears stained eyes; the Doctor just can’t help but to chuckle, a chuckle that slow grows from a small laugh into a dark laughter that seems to drip with the venom of evil, echoing throughout all the rooms and corridor deep within the TARDIS,

“Now... The problem...” the Doctor suddenly says after laughing as his gaze meet with the monitor, blinking the words ‘Critical timing malfunction’, annoyance becomes clearly readable upon his face,

“Oh great, not again...” he mutters sarcastic and annoyed as he makes his way back towards the controls, leaving a rather confused companion behind,

“Doctor...?”
“Not now Tarja!” he barks back still with that hint of anger in his tone, as he checks each panel underneath the controls,

“Just great... Fried again...” he mutters upon getting back up on his feet, his face being molded in a blood killing look, or an emotionless look for that matter,

“Doctor...?” Tarja asks again as the Doctor brushes past her, seemingly ignoring her as he disappears into one of the many rooms deep within their vessel,

“Are you functioning mistress?” a friendly sounding, mechanical voice suddenly asks as a robotic looking dog comes rolling out of the many books that had fallen down upon the floor cause of the sudden crash landing; a smile forms over Tarja’s lips as she watches towards the machined wonder,

“Everything is fine K-9, and you?”
“All systems operating at optimum efficiency. Concern appreciated mistress” K-9 answers back, which causes the smile on Tarja’s lips to grow a bit bigger,

“Well... Why are you still standing here for” the Doctor’s voice suddenly speaks towards her, startling her as he walks past her with haste,

“Let’s see just where the damned we landed!”

Turning her head, Tarja can’t help but to stare towards the Doctor in shock; before he was wearing the clothes he worn before regenerating and now he is sporting black creased trousers with black colored boots, along with wearing a leather jacket and gloves with what appears to be a skeletal imprint running over the jacket and gloves, she is also certain that she spotted something that appears to be a white colored Victorian shirt underneath but she isn’t really certain cause of the jacket being zipped up about all the way.

The Doctor stares towards her rather annoyed as he is standing near the coffee table, his gloved hand delving in a doctor’s bag upon picking up a strange circular device with a ring on top and a sort of red colored gem embedded into the ring,

“Just in case...” he mutters towards himself as he puts the sonic screwdriver into an inner pocket of his jacket, along with fishing out black shades; he makes his way towards the exit,

“Hello... Coming or not!?”
“I... I’m coming Doctor” Tarja stammers as she runs after him with K-9 rolling after her, only for to get stopped by the Doctor,

“Stay and guard mutt, ‘kay?”
“Affirmative master” K-9 replies with his computer sounding voice as his master flashes a rather creepy smile before letting the doors close behind him...

<><><>

Shaking, the light of his lantern swaying from left to right cause of his body shivering and trembling as fear so deep and sinister has taken a hold over him it almost seems as if the tentacles of the great Cthulhu is holding him in place; his legs frozen solid like the ice of the 9th level of hell as he wants to make a move away from the police box that almost crashed against him,

“Oh dear lord...” Dan stammers in fear with sweat breaking out all over his body, that it is a miracle he hasn’t peed himself in fright,

“So... Where are we?” A woman’s voice suddenly reaches into his ears as his eyes dashes from left to right, trying to find out where the voice is coming from,

“Oh... There be a lady beyond hinder?” he mutters towards himself quietly as his legs slowly takes a few steps, walking towards the direction of just where he thinks the voice came from; he moves past the TARDIS upon freezing in his tracks, not believing his vision for a sec,

“Looks to be the Dark Ages, wonderful” the Doctor answers Tarja’s question with a twisted smile forming over his lips, the kind of smile that is both evil and yet happy; a sweat drop runs over Tarja’s arms as she shivers in the cold that stings her bare flesh,

“M... More like the cold ages... B... B... But where ar... Are we?” Tarja asks in shiver and coldness as her hands are rubbing her arms and chest to try and remain warm; the Doctor however ignores it as he checks the place around upon spotting the peasant, the latter looking as pale as a ghost,

“My my... What do we have here...? A peasant?” the Doctor speaks with a strange, amused voice which causes Tarja to look towards the direction of the peasant, a small smile forms on her lips,

“Hello... Can you help us please?”
“B... Black Peter...” Dan stammers in fright, legs trembling with fear as it causes Dan to be frozen in place; this however confuses the two travelers slightly,

“Black Peter?” Tarja whispers towards the Doctor who shrugs, not knowing what the peasant is talking about even though the peasant is kind of close with the name,

“Y... You shan’t have me!” Dan shouts at the top of his lungs as his will suddenly smashes the fear from his legs, causing him to run from his spot and zooms past both the Doctor and Tarja, running as fast as his legs can carry him back towards his village home; leaving a confused Tarja and a rather amused Doctor behind.

Silence, like the one that can be found at cemeteries and deep within the never ending bowels of the Void, is between the two travelers; contemplating their own thoughts on what just happened, or why the Doctor was called Black Peter for that matter to which a smile creeps over his pale face,

“Black Peter...?” Tarja mutters confused as she breaks the silence; looking towards the Doctor who appears to be in a trance of some sorts,

“What did he mean with that Doctor, why did he call you that?”
“I have no idea... But something about the title sounds familiar in some weird way” the Doctor answers with calm in his voice, an eerie calm to be more precise as it sends goose-bumps all over Tarja’s already freezing skin; the Doctor suddenly marches forwards,

“Come on” was all he said as he continues marching towards the direction of where the peasant ran off to; Tarja quickly runs after the Doctor, unaware that the duo are being watched by a pair of eyes.

A pair of eyes of a color so yellow, that it can suck out all of the holy light in your soul and makes your carcass ready for the slaughter house in the deepest and darkest pits that not even the Cthulhu dares to enter; it watches them deep within the eternal darkness of shadows...

<><><>

Running as fast as his legs can carry him, his heart throbbing and pounding in his throat; Dan manages to reach his village while the sweat of fear is coming out of every pore in his body, almost having caused him to trip during the sprint back, he remains running with blind haste as if the devil is hot on his trail...

He runs up against the town’s elder and falls down upon his back, a numbing pain shoots through his shivering core as he struggles up slowly upon his knees, with eyes still closed and teeth clenched,

“My dear Dan...” the heavy old accent of the town’s elder suddenly speaks, both sounding polite and a bit irritated,

“Just what is the meaning of bumping like this?”
“Huh?” Dan mutters as his eyes slowly opens again and travels up, seeing the waiting form of the elder waiting for an answer; Dan quickly kneels and gathers his fallen lantern as quickly as he could,

“S... Sorry Elder, b... but I...” Dan stammers as sweat breaks out of his body like a tidal wave of fear and despair,

“B... But I saw Black Peter in the forest and...”
“Forest!?” The Elder shouts, surprised at hearing that Dan was out in the forests at night,

“What where you doing in the forest?”
“My dumb wife sends me to the forest to gather some mushrooms” Dan answers to which the Elder nods, while watching as the young peasant slowly rises back up on both his feet, however still shaking cause of the after-glow of fear that remains washing over his body like a strong choking hold on his throat that is strangling the live out of his miserable existence...

Moments of time slowly passes as the time traveling duo enters at the front of the small village, seemingly lying in the middle of nowhere with an eerie looking castle looming over the town in the background, like a giant beast just waiting for the right moment to strike and devour every men, women and children alive.

Their eyes moving to the left and the right as they walk into the small village, seeing how the many town’s people are either closing their windows or glaring at them with distrusting and a disgusting looks upon their faces,

“My, how friendly they seem to be... I am liking this place already” the Doctor suddenly comments with a twisted smile the mortar upon his face, twisted and haunting like the ever haunting presence of an impending doom that is yet to come but already came like a thunderstorm of nightmares and chaos; it sends down shivers of fear so painful and destructive down through Tarja’s skin that it almost eats all of her inner organs alive, she stares towards the Doctor with the ever presence feeling that something is not right with the Doctor at all, something is wrong and she can’t lay a finger upon what it is,

‘What is wrong with the Doctor, he is normally so curious and cheerful, not this menacing and maniacal’ her thoughts tell her like a second voice, she shrugs it off until bumping up against the Doctor’s back, the latter strangely standing still while she takes a few steps back and looks past him, seeing several of the residents having gathered with lit torches and pitchforks in hand,

“My my my... Looks like we are on time for the end party...”
“What are ya talkin’ about, Black Peter!” one of the peasants demands in a rather high pitched, thick accent; causing the Doctor to laugh out loud. And not just any laughter, no it is the kind of laughter that spells destruction and dooms throughout time and space...

The laughter of utmost chaos, deep within the dark and sinister realm of the daemon sultan known as Azathoth, a laughter too destructive and too horrible to even describe just how horrible and destructive it truly sounds like; the Doctor addresses them all once more with arms spread out like being crucified by the late Jesus Christ

“What I am talking about, my dear boy... Is of your lives, ending tonight... For the daemon sultan of chaos demands it all!” he speaks in a calm voice, a calmness that bares to much silence in it that it pierces into their souls, destructive and shredding them all apart from the inside out; they won’t stand it any longer,

“This is the end for you... Vampire!” another peasant shouts defiantly while you can easily see the fear and bloodshed of chaotic despair and the ever growing presence of madness and vileness, it causes the Doctor to smile a dark menacing smile for he can clearly read it in all of their eyes.

Pitchforks out, and their torches high into the skies, the mob of peasants all takes big leaps towards the Doctor who remain standing, almost as if waiting for them all to come and strike, waiting for that one moment to take them all under his grasp; he extends his right arm and stretches it at them, waiting with the patience of both the dead and the damned. Tarja suddenly grabs that arm as she pulls the Doctor with her, making a run back towards the TARDIS while dragging him with her; grumbling protests comes flowing from his lips,

“Let me GO... TARJA!” the Doctor demands threatening only for his head to look up and his eyes changing color into a bluish gray color, it all downs down upon him as he runs along with his companion,

“...Tarja, what is going on... Why are we running?”
“Be... Because they think you are a vampire and want to kill you Doctor!” Tarja shouts as they manages to reach the end of the little village and the beginning of the forest, the Doctor nods as they both make a dashing sprint, only for the young woman to suddenly trip over a lose stone in the dirt road with on the exact same moment the eyes of the Doctor turn back into their dark brown/near black of color and manages to wring his wrist free from Tarja’s grip, letting the girl fall upon the ground face-forwards as he makes it towards the forest, still laughing like a madman while leaving Tarja behind,

“DOCTOR!” Tarja screams it out of her lungs as she looks up, her left arm reaching out but only to grasp the cold stinging air itself as tears slowly falls down from her cheeks.

Crying softly, the girl suddenly gets picked up hard by her arms and dragged towards the Elder, who looks down at her with angered eyes while another one walks up towards the Elder while holding a black colored lighter with a white painting of Robert Smith engraved on the side; the Elder studies it upon accidentically pressing down the button of the lighter, releasing a little flame as he drops the lighter to the ground by accident. He adverts his gaze back towards Tarja,

“She is a witch! Burn her at the stake!” was the final judgement of the Elder as Tarja looks up in fright and screams it out loud, hoping for the Doctor to hear and come back to her...

Within minutes, the stake was set up as Tarja is tied against the pole, her clothes stripped from her as all that covers her naked form is some ragged clothing that catches fire pretty quickly,

“Oh gods... Please help me...” Tarja prays towards herself in whisper with her eyes closed as the peasant known as Dan walks up towards the stake, holding the torch with pride as everybody of the village has gathered to watch the burning of the witch. Tarja slowly looks up as she watches how the torch gets dropped upon the hay, seeing how the flames dance towards her...

Closer...

And closer...
