Jayse got me into this show recently and I just became obsessed with it, It's the best Spidey animated show next to the one that showed in the late 90's. The characters are dynamic and the action is fantastic! The voice cast is one of the best as well. All the voices fit the personas of the characters perfectly.

I must agree with you Dan. It's become something that could very well rival the animated series. By tossing in Gwen/MJ both in to Peter's life was a very nice touch. Sensational Spidy seems to get it right in every way. Then episodes never seem rushed in fact it seems 23 minutes doesn't do the show justice.

I know i'm looking forward to next season since it was a hell of a start!

I got news on Season two!!1!

Comic Continuum
* Voice recording for Season 2 wrapped on Thursday. There will be 13 episodes, although it remains unclear where they will air.

"This show has actually gotten me watching Saturday morning cartoons again," said Josh Keaton, who provides the voice of Spider-Man. "I'm in front of the TV with my bowl of cereal every Saturday morning and, even though I'm about 13 episodes ahead of everyone else -- I already know what's going to happen -- I still love waking up and watching because it's so much fun to see how it all comes together.

"And if you liked the first season, well I'll say this: You may think you know what happened in the first season, but the second season is going to change all that. Prepare to be surprised."

* Returning villains in Season 2 will include Chameleon, Vulture, Sandman, Rhino, Electro, Venom, Tombstone and Hammerhead. Some of the new villains will be Mysterio, Kraven and Molten Man.

I can't wait..

I've just started watching this series recently and it is simply brilliant! I was skeptical at first because I think some of the character designs were a bit lame or plain looking and the lack of pupils in all the characters' eyes, I mean those out of costume, bug me. But despite all that, the characterizations, the plots, and everything else makes up for it! Gwen Stacy, Black Cat, even MJ, and that Latina cheerleader girl are quite interesting characters and all potential candidates for Peter. Although the case of MJ makes it a bit obvious... I agree with Jayse and Dan that it rivals the 90's series.

I recently started watching it one day after Dan was talking about it in the shout and so far I've really enjoyed it. I wanna play a Spider-man game now and just go web swinging XD.

They are shooting for a March 09 release for season two and already rumors are swirling about villains whom may appear in season three.

Double postage!!!!

While poking around IGN I found images of Kraven and Mysterio who will appear along with the rest of the new batch of Season 2 villains. Also what appears to be a S2 poster with familiar villains and Kraven and Mysterio respectively.

Live again!

Okay so the lucky citizens of Canada have been treated to the newest season and with the power of the internet we all can.

Anyway I watched the first two episodes and something big is coming.

Mysterio kicked off the season by stealing parts from Stan Lee (he's every where!) then at the end we find out something bigger is planned..... What could it be?!?1

Next Kraven popped up. Spidy beat him the first round (no surprise) then he had to get his DNA modified so now he looks like a big kitty. *pets*

Then at the end once again the annoymous "friend" has plans for something bigger. (mind you this is the same person from the first one.)

So anywho something big is coming and I wanna see! Welcome back Spider-man!

*screams* Okay so I must be the only one that knows where to get season two but oh well.

I just watch episode 6 and it was awesome! Venom''s back (we all knew he would!) Anyway the end was OMFG.

BTW shame on Peter for picking Liz over Gwen!

Dammit Jayse don't spoil this show anymore for me!!! I'm seriously lovin this show, and I agree with you all that it is the closest to the 90's animated series, and that was one of the best ever.

Oh! I heard that Johnny Yong Bosch was to voice one of the villians in the show, is there any truth to that?

-boos Disney for taking Spider-Man- I enjoyed the series and its sad that it has to migrate into the land of cable... it means one less show for me to watch... but then again it opens up another hour of sleep!

And with that season 2 is over....

Let me say this from the start.... BEST EPISODE YET!

The end of Peter/Liz (yay!) We find out that Norman was the Goblin all along and framed Harry. We almost got Peter/Gwen but noooo Harry had to guilt Gwen into staying with him and of course Harry blames Spider-man for his fathers "death".

I also have to note the fight with the goblin gang/ Gobby was amazing the aerial battle was awesome!

Seeing the Conner's going to Florida (gator country!) seems random but I doubt this is the last we'll see of him or the Lizard...

With that I hope we get a season 3 since I love this show!!!

It's highway robbery this show had to end. Seeing as how there really wasn't a TRUE ending.

We know Osborn is still alive, he was contacting Mac Gargan whom would become scorpion, Harry is mad at spider-man the same way he was in the movies so they could have done the whole "revenge" storyline. Not to mention he broke Liz's heart for nothing! Gwen is staying with Harry out of pity and to comfort him.... She doesn't love him. -_-

We'll never see updated versions of Scorpion, Carnage, Hobgoblin, and Kingpin to name a few. They could have done the secret wars again, I would have loved that.

This show had some of the best fight scenes I've ever seen in a spider-man cartoon, second to the 90s cartoon.

>_<

This show ending is just plain shenanigans... I am disappointed at Disney.
