Saw Made of Honor with my Mom last Thursday. I love chick flicks, but this one was too predictable. It's painfully obviously that the two leads are meant to be together, to everyone but themselves. I did enjoy the humor and scenery, though.

The Dark Knight, FINALLY. I'll give it a 9/10 for the amazing special effects (was Eckhart's disfguration CGI-ed or actual makeup?), and Heath Ledger's awesomeness. Was so glad when Maggie Gyllenhaal's Rachel Dawes was killed- inside, I think I actually jumped for joy. And finally, is it just me or does anytone else think Christian Bale's Batman voice is funny? It sounds like he's been chain-smoking for years.

Just got back from seeing Tropic Thunder. Not a bad movie, especially for Ben Stiller. Quite a few well-known actors were in it. Only down fall about it was, it wasn't as funny as i thought it would be. Still enjoyed it though, don't get me wrong. i won't see it again though.

Just back from seeing Hamlet 2 with my girlfriends from college. Artistically, it is a wonderful movie, and has a lot of great referrence. It had its weird moments, though, that just didn't fit in with the plot and comedic scheme of the movie. But the song "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" was AMAZING.

Just watched Iron Man for the first time. It was an amazing movie.
Valkyrie. Rather good I thought. Would have been better had I not known how it ended. The problem is everyone does. I suppose you're supposed to feel suspense for the characters, and you do to an extent, but it's better when you don't know either. It was still a good story though, since I didn't really know the details of it before.

Bedtime Stories. PG Adam Sandler is entertaining and enjoyable, but highly predictable. I hardly laughed at all during this movie, but hey my goddaughters and two good friends enjoyed it, and that's all that matters.
P.S.- a "Don't Stop Believin'" dance party was had at the end of the movie...those who have seen it understand. EPIC song.

In other words, there was nothing funny about that movie, period. I didn't even smirk at the trailer, rather wanted to beat the 'writer/directors' down with a flail.

In Theatres: Valkyrie (really great movie).
On DVD: The Incredible Hulk (got it for Christmas and finally got around to watching it last week)
On VHS (Old yes I know): Singin' in the Rain (same as before)
On Netflix Instant Viewing: Tried watching Encino Man and stopped watching it. Wasn't that good at all. Sean Astin wasn't a good actor yet and Pauley Shore annoyed me. The only good thing was Link (Brendan Fraser) but that wasn't enough to save that disaster of a movie.

Saw Slumdog Millionare yesterday, excellent film. I'm usually bored with most Best Picture nominees but there's always at least one good one. Usually the ones that deserve to win like The Departed and No Country for Old Men. So hopefully this one wins and proves that point.

The last movie I saw was Skeleton Key. Its a great psychological flick starring Kate Hudson. I'm a sucker for movies that are actually filmed on location when that location happens to be New Orleans and all the music is from the city itself.
And I think the last movie I saw in theaters was Paul Blart: Mall Cop

The most recent movie I saw was "He's Just Not That Into You" which made me laugh. I heart Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Aniston. Yay for a Sasha Alexander appearance lol. My inner Dawson's Creek Fangirl shouted out with happiness with that. But it was good for laughs. I liked it.
