[Kaiser Zero]

Okay first let me say i'm just going to post the original first then new chapters will follow. So with that enjoy!

Listen to the story I’m about to tell you. Think of this is as my last will and testament…it started a year and a half ago.. The day earth was almost destroyed by its greatest evil…The familiars…


Episode One:


“Wake up… Dad wake up!” Jessica stood over her father trying to wake him up.

“….I..I’m..up’ Followed by a snort Roland rolled over to his site then fell asleep yet again.

“I can’t believe this..” Jessica pushed Roland off the bed. “You do this every morning!”

Roland laid on the floor gnawing on his pillow. “Well Jessica, you kick me out of bed every morning too, so we’re even.”

Jessica started for the bedroom door, and turned slightly. “In that case, next time you can wake your self up and cook your breakfast.”

Roland sat up, then threw the pillow at Jessica as she darted out the door.

“You’re getting old. Dad!” Jessica shouted as she ran down the hall.


A motorcycle blaring down the crowded streets, suddenly came to a stop at a red light.

“hmm Not bad six minutes, not bad at all.” The light turned green, then youth hit the gas and drove off in a flash.

Jessica sat mindlessly staring at a cereal box, as Roland walked in. “Is something wrong Jess?”

“…You know what day it is…” Jessica spoke softly.

Roland knelt down to Jessica. “You know as well as I do, that it’s going to happen one way or another.”

“YOU KNOW IT’S NOT FAIR! People are going to die!” Jessica shouted as she stormed out the door.

“…Jess.” Roland turned to look at the clock on the wall. “Less then an hour, then it starts… or end?”

A motorcycle pulled up near Jessica as she walked away. “Jess, is that you?”

Jessica stopped and turned, teary eyed. “J...Jaysen?”

“One and only!” Jaysen took off is helmet and put it to the side. “Why are you crying?”

Jess whipped the tears from her eyes. “Remember when I told you, it would be best if you got the hell outta town?”

“Yeah that was also, the time you told ‘what’s his name’ to leave too. What brought this on?”

“Well today your, gonna wish you listened to me.. That’s why I’m upset.” Jess let out a sigh.

Jaysen hopped off the bike to give Jessica a hug. “You, know I wouldn’t let anything happen to you. You’re like my sister I never wanted!”

Jessica broke the hug and punched Jaysen in the arm. “Mood wrecker!”

“You know, my type and it not you.” Jaysen snickered.

Jess rolled her eyes then turned away. “Jayse, you know I’m being serious about this.”

“I know, and that scares me that this has you worried so much.” Jaysen wrapped his arms around her. “I know, you and your Dad have been caught up in something in the past. But don’t let this get to you.”

“If only it was that easy Jayse…” Jess turned it to Jaysen’s chest and let the tears roll onto Jaysen’s shirt.

Suddenly the ground started to shake and crack causing the two to fall to the ground.

Jessica let out a scream. “It’s coming!!”

Three shadowed creatures emerged from the ground, and let out a horrifying roar.

Jaysen threw the helmet at the creatures. “What the hell are those things!”

“Jayse, we gotta get outta here!.” Jess scrambled to get to her feet, as the creatures approached the pair.

Jess pulled Jaysen as hard as she could, which Jaysen leapt to his feet and started to run with Jessica.

One of the creatures started to chase the two. Suddenly sparks flew off the unknown beast.

“Jess get him out of here now!” Roland emerged holding a blaster.
Jess nodded and ran off with Jaysen.

Roland fired several more shots at the creature. “We should have done something sooner…this is our punishment for not destroying you sooner!.”

A little further, down the street the pair encountered more of the monsters. “I..I’m sorry Jaysen! I didn’t want it to end like this..”

“Funny thing I was thinking the same thing.”

Suddenly sparks came off the monster as before. “Jess catch!”

Roland threw a black case to Jessica as one of the monsters had snuck up on him and slashed his back. “Aaagh!”

“NO!” Jessica cried out and dropped the case. The ran to her fathers side.

“Jess the monster! Watch out!” The case fell open at Jaysen’s feet, and a belt fell out.

“J..Jees..ica..g..g.go!” Roland’s hand hit the ground, just as Jessica let out a scream.

The beast made a swipe at Jessica but Jaysen tackled her out the way. “Jess there’s nothing you could have done!”

The teary-eyed Jessica turned to Jaysen, “But there’s something you can do!”

The monster made another attempt to slash the two, but they rolled out the way.

“The belt Jaysen!! Get the belt, put it on and put in ‘Henshin’!” Jessica cried out as Jaysen darted for the belt.

Several more creatures emerged, making their way to the city as well as Jaysen.

Jaysen grabbed the belt then found him self-surrounded by monsters. “Please let this work!”

“I guess this is where she meant to put it in.” On the right side of the belt was a small keypad.

Jaysen input ‘Henshin’ Just as Jessica told him to. ~Confirm~ “What the hell?”

Jessica cried out, “Tell it ‘confirm!” as a monster was behind her.

“Confirm!” Suddenly he was wrapped in black glass, which broke off, and emerging, was a black and gold colored suit.


Jaysen suddenly punched one of the monsters and sent it veering into the monster behind Jess. “What the hell was that?”

Jess sat up then shouted. “Jaysen input ‘sword’ and then ‘slash’ hurry!’

Jaysen nodded then input ‘Sword’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!” suddenly A sword emerged in his hand. Jaysen then struck some of the monsters knocking them back.

“Awesome!” Jaysen then input ‘Slash’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!” The sword lit up. ~Rider Slash~

As Jaysen ripped through the monsters, explosions followed. The last bit of creatures scattered in all directions.

Jessica ran over to Jaysen’s side. “I’m sorry, I didn’t have a choice…”

Jaysen looked toward the city, old to see the city a blaze and smoke. “I’m the one that should be sorry, I couldn’t save your dad.”

Jess turned to Jaysen, “But at least you can save the city.”

Jaysen once again turned toward the city..

Episode Two:

A flash of light ripped through flames and emerged, A rider. “Damn it! It’s been three hours of this. Nonstop fighting.”

Jessica walked up beside the rider. “You decided you wanted to do this, not me!”

Jaysen stomped his foot on the ground, cracking the asphalt. “Agghh!!, Well I hate to break it to you, I need a break!”

“Then take one, you’re the one that got all exited about having powers not me.” Jessica then turned and stormed off.

Jaysen threw up his arms as Jess walked away. “Hey, at least tell me how to get this thing off!!!”

Jess shrieked back. “Figure it out your self since you know everything Smart-ass!”

Jaysen stood still for a moment looking at the belt. “Off!!! Hello?! Off?! Confirm off?!?!”

“Wait a second!” Jaysen snapped his fingers, then input ‘Off’ in the keypad. ~Error~ “What the hell?!?!, I was sure it was off..”

Once again Jaysen stood there, and input ‘Power down” ~Error~ “I’m gonna be stuck in this damn suit!!!”

Suddenly a black van pulled up near him and Jessica, rolled down the window. “Just admit you need me. And simply say ‘Jessica o’ mighty mistress who knows all please help me’. And who knows maybe I’ll tell you.”

“You know if you could see under this helmet I’m making faces at you.” Jaysen mumbled just enough for her to hear.

“Meh close enough coming from you. Just put in ‘Release’ and hurry up we gotta get out of here.”

After inputting ‘Release’ the Rider suit shattered like glass. “Thank you, jeez couldn’t tell me that before?!?!”

“Would you get in! We can’t be caught here.” Jessica shouted as Jaysen got in.

“Well go already, your running your mouth when you should be driving!” Jaysen snapped back.

“All you do is bitch, bitch, bitch!” Jessica screamed as she stepped on the gas.

The next morning Jaysen was awaken to the sound of the TV. “Damn Jess keep it down!”

Jess turned around “It’s about yesterday, their saying a gas main exploded.”

Jayse sat up and watched too. “But we know for a fact that monsters, creatures or what ever you want to call them did that.”

Jess lowered her head. “Their called familiars…”

Jaysen sat up. “How do you know?”

Jess let out a sigh. “My Dad and I worked on the project, back then it was known as ‘Project Bright’. Your typical government contract to create super soldiers. It used enhanced DNA, where they got the DNA I don’t know.”

Jess stood up and walked over to pick up a picture of her and her father. “It took three years to develop, then it when into human testing.”

“Let me guess, ‘Project Familiar’?” Jaysen interjected.

“Right. Things were going smoothly, Then two years ago the subjects started to show ‘symptoms’ or I guess you could say ‘mutations’.”

“After several attempts to “cure” them we were forced to create weapons to eliminate them. The government didn’t want these creatures to run around so you can guess what happens next.”

“Let me guess, you made the rider system, in order to kill them? But that doesn’t explain how they came out the ground, or how there are so many.”

“Not so dumb after all.” Jess added. “The rider system, in a since failed. So we resorted to “sealing”. I know an archaic thing to do, but that was the only thing we could do.”

She then sat on the edge of the bed. “When we “sealed” them. There was only twenty-three subjects. How they grew in numbers, I don’t know.”

“Back to the rider system, you said it failed but I used it and killed a bunch of them!”

“After the project was scrapped, Dad did some work on it. I didn’t even know he finished it till yesterday.” Jess let out another sign and headed for the door.

“Jess, I’m sorry this happened.” Jaysen added.

“…We brought this on our selves. Jayse so it’s not your fault.”
Jaysen jumped off the bed. “I’ll help clean it up! Yeah I may not be a brain trust of knowledge , but I do know I want to make it right.”

“Thanks, Jayse.” Jessica nodded then headed out the door.

Sometime later At ground zero.

“Sir, were picking up a faint neutron signal, which almost matches Blitz’s signature.” An officer shouted.

“There’s only two belts, check it again.” “It couldn’t be who I think it is..” The man walked off to a near by van and peered in.

Suddenly the van, drove off in a flash.

“I’ll find out what’s going on one way, or another.”

Back at Jessica’s house. “So now you think, you’ve got the hang of your powers yet?”

Jaysen put his head on the table. “I think so, but I don’t get why I can’t tell anyone else about this.”

“You do know, you have an experimental weapon that’s not suppose to exists. That’s why.” Jess added.

“Kill-joy.”

“I maybe a kill joy but my smarts are going to keep you alive.” Jess snapped back.

“Fine, but what’s with that laptop you have?”

“I can track familiars, with it. We tagged the original subjects with tracers. That’s how we knew they were coming.”

“So it’s like a crystal ball?!” Jaysen shouted.

“….Do you see me making fortunes? Idiot! I’m keeping tabs and one is heading to the town square.”

“Awesome, I’ll go take care of it!” Jaysen jumped up and headed for the door.

“You may need some back up, there’s a surprise out in the garage. I’ll monitor you from here.”

“Thanks Jess,” Jaysen darted out the door and into the garage to find a new motorcycle. “She’s got good taste in bikes I’ll give her that.”
Jaysen rode out the garage on the black and gold cycle and headed toward the plaza.

Just as he pulled up the familiar had been throwing civilians around.

“Aren’t you a bad boy?!” Jaysen shouted as he put on the belt.

The creature made a dash at Jaysen but missed. He had jumped to the side.

‘My turn!” Jaysen stood up and input ‘Henshin’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!”

Jaysen ran at the familiar, while black glass enveloped his body then braking off.

Jaysen then punched the familiar, knocking it down. “Let’s try something new!”

He then input ‘Knuckle’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!” Then metal knuckles appeared over the gloves.

Once again Jaysen, punched the familiar with an uppercut sending it flying further away.

“Time to take my ball and go home!” Jaysen input ‘Kick’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!”

He then flipped backward, and stood at a running start position. ~Take off~ Suddenly he was sent flying toward the familiar, then leapt up on one leg into the air doing a reveres drop kick.

The familiar fell over and exploded, as Jaysen turned away. “Shocking!”

Suddenly bullets came out of nowhere and hit Jayse knocking him back.

Jaysen looked up to see another rider standing off in the distance. “W..what the hell?!”

“Your Next!” The Mysterious rider shouted back.

Episode Three:


The mysterious Rider fired several more rounds at Jaysen.

Jaysen staggered to get to his feet. “What the hell, is your problem?!?!”

“I don’t like you, so I’m going to kill you.” The mystery rider shouted back.

“Sorry but not dying today, Jessica would kill me.” Jaysen then input ‘Sword’ ~confirm~

Jaysen made a dart for the Rider as the sword appeared.

The rider fired more bullets toward Jaysen, but were deflected by the sword.

‘I’ve had enough of those guns.” Jaysen input ‘Slash’ as he continued to run at the rider. ~confirm~ “Confirm” The sword lit up

“….Amateur.” The Rider muttered.

“I heard that!” Jaysen flipped over the rider and slashed the Gatling’s. “I wasn’t aiming for you!”

The rider rolled to the side to avoid getting hit by the rider slash. “Do you think I’d even LET you touch me.”

The Rider input ‘Axe’ ~Ready~ “Go” A double edge axe appeared in the riders hands and struck Jaysen several times, sending him flying into a near by wall.

Jaysen stood to his but slumped over. “Aggghhh…I..i..give you points…your strong.”

“……Time to die…” The rider said as he walked calmly toward Jaysen.

“I..I..won’t die here!” Jaysen stood up and charged at the rider again.

The ride input ‘Breaker’ ~Ready~ “Go!” The Rider rushed toward Jaysen, as the axe turned red then struck him sending him veering into a fountain followed by an explosion.

A female voice blared over the riders communicator. “That’s enough, Blitz return now! Clean up will deal with him.”

“..Understood.” Blitz turned and walked toward a parked semi.

As we walked toward the semi a blonde haired jumped out. “You went to far Blitz!”

“Shut up, Beth. At least I went out to fight.” Blitz snapped back, as he released his rider form.

“Whatever, M-san. Move out!” Beth shouted at the driver. “Yes, Ma’am!”

The semi pulled off. As a white van pulled up.

“Jaysen, get up!!” Jess’ voice came blaring through his communicator.

“………………I…..I’m alright” Jaysen stood up, to see that a van was in the distance.

“Jayse, meet me on the corner, I’ll pick you up.”

“Right..” Jaysen staggered to get away, only to fall around the corner. Just as he fell the Ruder suit broke off.

Jessica pulled up in the van and jumped out to find Jaysen unconscious. “Oh no! Jaysen, wake up!, Wake up!!!”

Jess dragged Jaysen to the van, putting him in the back. “I’m not losing you, not today!.” Jess hopped in the drivers seat and drove off.

The next day. Jaysen woke up to see his wounds had been taken care of.

“Your awake, thank goodness.” Jess softly said as she started to dose off.

“Thanks.. Jess.” Jaysen got up and cover Jessica with a blanket and walked out the room.

Jaysen sat at the table, thinking about the fight he barely survived. “That guy was strong, really strong.” He then slammed his fist on the table.

At the Power Line Corporation. Beth and M-san sat waiting in the conference room.

“Where is he, he said be here at 12:30.” Beth shouted as she kicked the wall.

M-san turned his head way from Beth. “You know, he’s but running the place so shut up,”

Beth rolled her eyes and turned around. “ You know your about as useless AS Gri…”

Suddenly the door opened, and entered a man with a white jacket. “I take it you were talking about me, Beth?”

Beth stopped and saluted. “N..No sir!”
“General, Grissom!” M-san saluted, and stood firmly.

Grissom turned toward M-san. “Nice work, yesterday. As always I’m pleased.”

M-san grinned slightly. “Thank you sir.”

Beth snarled. “Suck up!”

“Watch your mouth Beth, all I’ve seen you do is bark orders.” Grissom snapped back.

“As the reason I called you here, I have a job for you.” Grissom said as he sat down.

“The incident yesterday, was reviewed. We found that the Rider Blitz encountered was non other then the experimental belt ‘Volt’.”

“That relic belt is still around?!” Beth shouted.

“Yes one in the same. However it looks to have been upgraded. By who is unknown at this time.” Grissom added.

“So what’s the job, already?” M-san said in eager voice.

“I want you to track ‘Volt’ down. Eliminate him if need be.”

“But I killed him already!” M-san shouted as he clinched his fist.

“We though you did as well, however the ‘Clean up crew’ didn’t find him. So he’s out there some where.”

“Looks like someone didn’t do their job!” Joyfully shouted.

Grissom stood up as to walk out the room. “You know what, Blitz, take a breather. I want to see how much Beth has learned.”

“Yes, Sir” Beth shouted.

“….” M-san turned away in silence, as Grissom walked out.

“Looks like, I’ll have your job!” Beth squealed and ran out the door.

Back at Jessica’s house. Jaysen was still sitting at the table, then noticed the laptop had gone off.

“Just like the other day!” Jaysen opened it and saw a Familiar was newer the docks. “At least it’s not that rider, so I can take it!”

Jaysen darted out the door, and got on his motorcycle.

“Ma’am we’ve arrived, however there’s a civilian approaching, at high speed.”

“Volt, good. Kill two birds with one stone.” Beth grabbed her belt and put it on.

Jaysen pulled up and saw the Familiar as well as a semi off to the side.

“Just take the thing down, in and out before Jess finds out.” Jaysen input ‘Henshin’ and tackled the Familiar down to the ground, just as the glass shattered.

“Sorry making this quick!” Jaysen input ‘Sword’ followed by ‘Slash’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!”

The sword lit up, then Jaysen unleashed a slash on the Familiar then turned around. “Shocked, aren’t you?!”

The Familiar fell back, then exploded.

“Hey you!” Beth shouted as she stood on near by roof.

Jaysen turned to see Beth. “And you would be?...No wait don’t say it…Sailor Moon right? Am I right, You know I’m right!”

“No but, the one that’s gonna kick your ass.” Beth shouted back. Then she input ‘Henshin’ into her belt. ~Affirmative~ “Affirmative!”

Beth jumped off the roof as silver glass enveloped her body, then broke off as she landed.

“Not another one!” Jaysen turned toward Beth with the sword ready.

“Time to die, Volt!” Beth made a dash toward Jaysen.

Episode Four:

As Beth made her way toward, Jaysen swung his sword slashing Beth at the side the turning and striking her in the back, Beth fell over for the ground.

“Sorry, didn’t mean to hurt you so much, but you are trying to kill me.” Jaysen said as he rested the sword o his shoulder.

“I’m not letting you leave her alive!!” Beth stood up and entered ‘Lance’ ~Affirmative~ Beth then jumped into the air. “Affirmative!” A lance appeared in her hands then she did a down ward thrust breaking the concrete.

“Damn woman, you got issues!” Jaysen then ready the sword and made an attempt to slash her, but Beth leapt of the lance and kicked Jaysen in the chest.

Jaysen was the sent flying into a near by boat. “T..Thats all ya got!!” Jaysen jumped in air pulling a kick and Beth sending her back.

“I really don’t wanna keep this up day, so sorry to end this.” Jaysen entered ‘blaster’ and a blaster appeared in his hand and fired a few shots at Beth then vanished.

After Beth had been shot she quickly ran through the smoke to find that Volt had vanished.

“DAMN IT!!, Grissom isn’t going to like this.” Beth then released her suit and made her way back to the van.

As Beth got in the Driver spoke in a soft voice. “Was the mission a success? Ma’am?”

“Shut up and get back to base, I don’t wanna hear your mouth! Beth snapped back and folder her arms over her chest. “You’ll see me again, Volt and it’s gonna HURT!!”

Back at Jessica’s house, Jaysen wheeled the cycle into the garage. “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!” Jessica shouted.

‘There was a Familiar, so I figured I’d take care of it.” Jaysen said he parked the bike.

‘Sorry I was just worried , with your wounds and all. Did you run into that Rider again?” Jess asked as she opend the door.

“ Ran into another Rider. That about it.” Jaysen said as he followed Jess.

“YOU WHAT?!?!” Jessica shouted.

“I’m alive, banged up but she wasn’t to much of a problem.”

Jessica sat at the table “It was a she? …I’m more worried about the fact there’s two Riders.”

“You think your worried, try being the one that would have to fight them.” Jaysen let out a sigh and sat a chair.


Beth walked in to the conference room. “M-san I don’t wanna hear it.” Beth walked right by and sat down.

Suddenly the doors busted wide open and Grissom walked in. ”Beth you let me down, not only did you fail at getting the belt, but you were beat by him.”

Beth jumped up form her seat. “I’m sorry Sir, let me handle him since he’s not as strong as I am and using M-san would be a waste.”

“Your right, about one thing Beth Volt isn’t as strong as you, HE’S STRONGER. For an elite to be beaten by a rookie. I should have sent Blitz!” Grissom slammed his hand on the table.

“Next time, your both going end of story. I hear about either of you, trust me you’ll wish Volt killed you!”

Both of the stood upright and saluted. “Yes. Sir!”

“Now get out my sight!” Grissom shouted, as the two left. “Don’t fail me this time..”

“Hey Jayse, take a look at this.” Jess pointed to a strange signal on the laptop.

“And this means what to me?” Jaysen said as he looked at the screen.

“This signal isn’t like the others. It’s emitting a higher signal.”

“So you mean it’s stronger?” Jaysen added.

“I’m thinking it’s one of the original twenty-three subjects.”

Jaysen jumped op. “Where is it? It needs to b stopped be fore it hurts someone.”

“Jayse, calm down it’s on it way to some warehouse. So I don’ think it’ll cause to much trouble.”

“I’m still going!” Jaysen ran out and got on the motorcycle and sped off.


Jaysen pulled up and saw the Familiar. “Hey you freak of the week!”

The familiar turned around. “Who are you calling a freak, wimp!”

A surprised Jaysen yelled out. “You can talk?!”

“I have work to do. So get out my way!” the Familiar shot out chains, hitting the ground around Jaysen.

“That’s it!” Jaysen input ‘Henshin’ into the belt and ran toward the familiar. The glass shattered as Jaysen punched the familiar.

Unleashing a fury of punches on the familiar, if knocked Jaysen back.

“Not over yet!” Jaysen input ‘Blaster’ ~confirm~ “Confirm!” The blaster then appeared in his hand and fired several shots at the familiar.

The familiar fell to one knew but got right back up. “DIE!!” the familiar unleashed more chains that wrapped around Jaysen.

“Aaggh!, I’m not done yet!!” Jaysen fires more shots breaking the chains. Then input ‘Shot’ ~Confirm~ Jaysen fired more rounds hitting the familiar. “Confirm!” ~Rider Shot~ The blaster lit up at the end of the barrel.

“Now it’s over!” ~Full Charge~ The blaster shot a ball of energy hitting the Familiar.

Jaysen turned around. “Fall down, and go boom!”

The familiar fell to the ground. “Number Nine-teens finished but my brothers and sisters will avenge me!” Then exploded.


A researcher ran in the conference room. “Sir, Ma’am, A familiar signal has been found near a residential area.”

Both of them ran out the door, and made their way to the Residential area.

Both ran up to engage the Familiar.

Beth tackled the familiar to the ground, then jumped back up.

M-san nodded to Beth then both entered ‘Henshin’ in their belts. ~Ready~ ,~Affirmative~

M-san shouted then ran at the familiar. “Go!”

Beth also ran toward it. “Affirmative!’

Both punched the familiar as the glass broke off, sending it back into a car.

Beth turned to M-san “We end this now, and report back. Agreed?”

M-san nodded. “Agreed!” He the input ‘Axe’ ~Ready~ “Go!”

M-san jumped right in and started to slash away with his axe causing massive damage to the familiar knocking it down to it’s knees.

Beth leapt up on M-san’s shoulders and struck the familiar with her Lance, sending the monster back again.

Beth threw her lance into the leg of the familiar, stopping it from running away.

Beth then entered ‘Kick’ into her belt ~Affirmative~ “Affirmative!” Beth then wrapped her legs around the familiar, pulling it crashing down head first into the ground.

“Now play dead!” Beth turned away, just as the familiar exploded.

M-san turned to Beth. “Not bad, Beth.”

Beth snapped back. “Whatever, lets get outta here!

Suddenly both Riders fell over as a flash passed them.

M-san stood up. “What, the hell was that?!” Once again M-san was knocked around and thrown down.

The blur stopped and turned around, and emerged and Familiar. “Looks like you, your not as fast as I though!”

Beth got up on her knees. “That thing just talked!”

The familiar let out a roar. “You humans aren’t as dumb at you look!” The familiar ran and grabbed both Riders throwing them into a wall.

The Familiar gave a nasty look at the now unconscious riders. “Now the real fun begins!”

Episode Five:

The familiar raised its arm about to strike, but was suddenly knocked back.

The familiar was stunned but got back up to turn so see what had hit him. “What was that!!”

The dust cleared suddenly Jaysen came running toward the familiar firing shots with the blaster.

“As much as I don’t like those two especially the guy. But I have to save them.” Jaysen shouted as he fired more shots at the familiar knocking it down again.

Beth and M-san started to come too. Beth sat up to see Jaysen was fighting the familiar. “Oh damn, not him again!”

Beth nudged, M-san to wake up. “Get up! Volts here!”

“…V..Volt!” M-san staggered to get up. “I’ll finish him off, and get the belt!”

M-san grabbed his axe and made a dash at Volt. “DIE!!”

“Oh, not you again!” Jaysen changed targets and fired shots at M-san knocking him back. “Now be a good boy and sit!”

Out of nowhere, several low level familiars surrounded the riders. “Have fun with the spawns” The Familiar shouted as he made his escape.

“Damn it, more clean up!” Jaysen muttered to him self as he input ‘sword’.

Beth grabbed M-san’s arm. “Not here, we have to report this to Grissom!”

“Grr, your right. Well meet again VOLT!” M-san and Beth both ran off leaving Jaysen to fend from them selves.

“Jeez, I save them and they leave me here!” Jaysen shouted as he slashed away at the Spawn.

“I’m going home!” Jaysen entered ‘Slash’ in the belt ~confirm~ “Confirm!” ~Rider Slash~

The sword lit up, just as Jaysen started to rip through the spawn stopping after he had slashed them all. “Now dance!”

All the spawn then fell over and exploded.

“Now I gotta get back.” Jaysen jumped on his motorcycle and drove off.

Beth and M-san busted into Grissom’s office.

Grissom jumped up from his chair. “What’s going on?! Who the hell do you think you are to just to walk in here?”

“Sir, we encountered a Familiar!” Beth shouted back.

“So this is nothing new! It’s your job for fight them!” Grissom added.

M-san interjected. “Sir, this wasn’t a normal familiar. Not only was it stronger, faster and smarter. It could talk.”

“It’s couldn’t have been, one of the test subjects. They should have all died!” Grissom shouted and he turned around. “Dismissed!”

Both nodded and left the office.

Grissom put his arms around his back. “So there alive after all..”

Back at Jessica’s house.

“And that’s it.” Jaysen sat on the couch.

“So it called it self ‘Number Nine-teen’? huh.” Jessica replied.

“I have no idea about the fast one, but I’m sure he won’t be in hiding for to long.” Jaysen as he laid back.

“I’m just glad your alright, Jayse. It shows your getting better.”

Jaysen started to close his eyes a little. “Thanks Jess, but if they are getting stronger I’m in trouble.”

“Don’t worry about that, just get some sleep.” Jess got up and turned out the light.

As Jess walked toward her then suddenly drooped to her knew crying. “It’s my fault, you ended up like that.. Please forgive me..”

Beth and M-san sat in the in the conference room.

“You know it’s bee two day’s not since we fought that Familiar. Where could it have gone?” M-san shouted.

Beth turned her picked he head up from the desk and opened her eyes. “I don’t know, or don’t care. That thing could have killed us and you know it.”

M-san slammed his hand on the desk. That’s the thrill of battle, facing someone strong then yourself!”

Beth rolled her eyes. “You must have a death wish or something, I mean all you do is fight!”

“It’s what I do, and it’s all I HAVE LEFT!” M-san turned and punched the wall.

“All you have left?” Beth looked at M-san wide eyed.

M-san hung his head. “Just forget it!”

Beth, sat silently.

An officer came busting in the conference room. “Sir, Ma’am! The Familiar has been spotted heading for on of our supply warehouses!”

Both turned toward the officer. “What?!”

“Just as I said! I was sent to inform you!” The officer shouted as he gasped for air.

M-san turned to walk out the door. “This one’s mine!”

“I figured you’d say that.” Beth nodded as M-san Ran out the door.

Jaysen stood outside on the driveway having just finished washing the bike.

“There, good as new.”

Jess came running out the house in a panic. “Jaysen, we’ve got a visitor!”

Jaysen turned. “Where?!”

“It’s at near some warehouse. I already sent the coordinates to the bike.”

Jaysen hopped on the bike. “Thanks Jess!.” Then drove off.

Jess watched Jaysen as he drove off. “Be careful Jaysen.”

The familiar, started to scratch at the warehouse doors. “Open up and let me in!!!”

“You weren’t invited, that’s why it won’t open.” M-san said off in the distance.

The familiar turned letting out a roar, then darted toward M-san.

M-san grinned with excitement as he entered ‘Henshin’ into the belt. He was the wrapped in glass.

Just as the glass formed around M-san the familiar punched M-san in the chest breaking the glass.

“Big mistake!” M-san kicked the familiar breaking it’s right leg.

The Familiar rolled back clinching it’s leg. “YOU’LL PAY FOR THAT!!”

“Now no more running. It’s time to die” M-san entered ‘Axe’ ~Ready~ “Go!”

M-san jumped into the and trusted the axe into the Familiars chest. “Now SCEAM!”

The familiar let out a bone chilling roar. “i..I’m..not done!! Number Nine will survive!!”

“Not today you won’t!” M-san jumped back leaving the axe burred in the Familiar’s chest. The input ‘Gatling’ ~Ready~ “GOOOO!

Two large Gatling’s appeared under M-San’s arms. ~Vocal Mode Active~ “Dead End!”

~Dead End~ Two shoulder mounted missile launcher appeared. “Now it’s over!” M-san pulled the triggers firing an onslaught of missiles and bullets.

The Familiar exploded as it’s ash rose into the air.

Volt pulled up on his bike to see the flames. “I guess I missed the party.”

Jaysen jumped off the cycle to get a closer look. “Damn it looks like someone won’t be getting up anytime soon.”

“I can arrange the same type of event for you as well, Volt!” Blitz calmly said as he walked out the flames.

“Sorry but if you’re here; I don’t feel like playing with you today.” Jaysen flipped back behind the bike.

“To bad, I didn’t give you a choice!” Blitz shouted as he pulled his Axe out the ground.

Jaysen stood staring at Blitz. “Oh.Shi…”

Episode Six:


Blitz jumped into the air, then threw axe toward the bike.

“Oh hell no!” Volt kicked the bike to avoid getting hit with the axe. “You bust this bike, I’ll bust your ass!”

Blitz landed on the ground then grabbed his axe. “Funny, you haven’t beat me yet, so I doubt you’ll be doing any ass beating, other then your own!”

“Sorry I can’t die today, I have things to do.” Volt jumped over Blitz and input, ‘Sword’ the struck Blitz in the back.

Blitz turned around unharmed, then struck Volt in the chest several times sending him back. “If that’s all the power you’ve got then, this is over!”

Volt staggered to get up once again. “i..i..I’m not done yet!” Volt input ‘Blaster’ ~Confirm~ “Confirm!”

The blaster appeared in Volts hand then fired several shots at Blitz. As the smoke cleared Volt appeared under Blitz with the sword fully charged.

“I told you, I wasn’t done!!” Volt then unleashed the rider slash on Blitz knocking him back to his knees.

Volt made a dash for Blitz as he entered ‘Kick’ ~Confirm~ Volt jumped in the air to heel drop on Blitz. “CONFIRM!!”

The drop kick landed then Volt turned away. “Roll over and play dead!”

Blitz rolled back followed by an explosion.

“Did I do it?” Volt turned around again to see, but then an axe cam flying out from the flames hitting Volts helmet cracking the side of it.

“Honestly did you think, you can beat me?!?” Blitz emerged from the flames and the axe came flying back to him.

Volt layed on the ground ”agghh….I..i’m..”

“Let me guess? ‘Not done yet!’ Right?” Blitz walked over, then picked Volt up by his neck.

“Nothing else to say?!” Blitz punched Volt in the chest a few times.

“Before I kill you and take the belt, I want to know who’s behind that mask!” Blitz raised the axe to finish off the helmet.

Volt fired the blaster in to Blitz’s check causing him to drop Volt.

Volt stood panting and breathing heavily. “I’m taking my ball and going home!” Volt flipped to get to his bike and sped off.

Blitz stood up and he saw Volt drive away. “Next time Volt, you will not survive!”

Jaysen peeled off down the streets and released his suit. “I can’t believe this he almost killed me.. This isn’t fun any more, it’s getting down right dangerous..”

“I need to tell Jess, about this..” Jaysen drove off to Jessica’s house.

Back at the conference room.

“And that’s my report Sir.” M-san saluted and sat down.

Grissom, stood up. “Well done with the Familiar, however you let Volt get away.”

M-san jumped up “I apologize Sir. Next time I won’t let me get away.”

“See that you do your job.” Grissom walked out the door. “One more thing M, you have the day off tomorrow so make use of it.”

M-san saluted. “Yes Sir, Thank you sir!”

The next morning at Jessica’s.

“Jaysen, I’m sorry I put you through this, I didn’t even think about your feelings.” Jess hung her head and looked at the floor.

“Jess, I know you meant well, but things are starting to get out of hand.. I just don’t know about this any more.” Jayse then turned away slightly.

“Why don’t you take a day off? Get your self some air. I mean t may not be much but at least it gives you some time to think.”

Jaysen stood up and took the keys off the table. “…Jess, just know that what ever I do decide to do, isn’t to be selfish.”

“I wouldn’t blame you if you did want to quit Jayse, all I can keep doing is telling you how sorry I am.”

“I’ll be back later, Jess.” Jaysen then walked out the door.
“I..truly sorry for this Jaysen, I really am.” Jess grabbed a near by pillow and hug it tightly.

Jaysen pulled into a park.

“No better place to think.” Jaysen got off his bike and left the helmet on the seat.

“No one said this job would be easy, I mean a lot of people risk their lives day after day.”

Jaysen sat on the grass looking out to the lake. “Why, am I doubting my self now? All the things I did, and could do would have been for nothing..”

Out of nowhere a football knocked Jaysen in the back the head knocking him over.

“Oww what the hell was that for?!?!” Jaysen sat back up and turned around to see a guy running up to him.

“hehe sorry about that man.” The long haired guy helped Jaysen up to his feet.

“I would have tried to warn you but I don’t think you would have heard me.”

“MY DAY JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!” Jaysen shouted at the top of his lungs.

“Ummm, dude what the hell is your problem?

Jaysen let out a groan. “Nothing, that’s what. Now if you don’t mind I need to go back to thinking how my life turned to complete crap!”

The long haired guy, could do nothing but stare while Jaysen went on a rant.

“Umm Dude! People are starting to stare.”

Jaysen once again let out a loud groan. “Look here, there’s two problems here. One, my name isn’t ‘Dude’ and two who the hell says Dude any more?”

“Well then, I have three problems with you! One, lots of people still say dude. Second, Your making an ass out of your self. And Third I don’t know your name so I called you ‘Dude’!”

Jaysen sighed. “I’m Jaysen, and you would be?”

“M-sa….. Michel.” Michel extend his hand for a hand shake.

Jaysen shook his hand. “Oh yeah, I think this is yours.” Jaysen tossed back Michel’s football.

“Thanks, man.” Michel took the football back. “I don’t mean to pry, but what are you yelling about?”


“Other then, my life is always threatened, by some psycho with an axe or chasing monsters. I’m pretty much normal!”

Michel fighting back laughing “’A Psycho with an axe and monsters’? dude what are you smoking?”

“Oh yeah, I’m just joking!” Jaysen looked around nervously.

“Well, Jaysen. It was great talking to you, but I gotta get back to my friend.” Michel turned around to see if his friends were still around.

“What the hell!!! They left!!!” Michel threw the football into parking lot breaking a car window.

“Well Michel, nice meeting you but yeah!” Jaysen ran off.

“H..Hey wait for me!” Michel ran after Jaysen.

Further down the part path the two panted and wheezed.

“T..that’s not how I wanted to spend my day you know!” Jaysen shouted.

“Well I’m not paying for it, those jackasses left me behind!”

Jaysen checked his watch. “Oh damn it’s almost one o’ clock!”

Michel turned around. “You got a date or something?”

“Not really, I just need to give some one an answer. Kinda something that’ll change my life.”

“Aww gonna ask your girlfriend to marry ya huh?” Michel Grabbed Jaysen’s head and rubbed the top.

“ohh..ohh, No! Trust me she’s not my type.” Jaysen shifted his eyes. “She’s like my sister, hell she’s like the mother I never wanted!”

Michel slightly laughs. “Well I guess that proves, you two are close.”

Jaysen sat down on the grass. “That’s the big question. I know she cares about me, but the things she has me do could kill me.”

“I’d ask what kind of things you do, but I don’t think it’s my place to ask. So I can only offer you advice,” Michel sat down on the grass as well.

“If she put you in this position your in, she knew you were right for the job. I’m sure if she could do whatever it is over again, to protect you, I’m sure she would.” Michel laid back in the grass with his arms under his head.

Jaysen let out a sigh. “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.” Michel sat back up.

Jaysen turned around. “What if this job, also benefit other people, such as saving lives? Would you do it?”

Michel sat silently for a moment. “…Well.. If it’s something that can help someone else, you should do it. I know what it’s like to lose someone special…but I was to weak then..”

Jaysen had a puzzled look on his face. “Are you alright?”

“umm yeah!” Michel jumped up to his feet. “I hope that advice helps you find what you need.

Jaysen’s cell went off. “ummm hold on a sec alright?” Jayse ran off a few feet away.

Jaysen picked up the phone “Jess?”

I’m sorry to bother you when your thinking, but we have a high level familiar at so place called ‘New Tech Industries’. I just though I’d let you know..” Jess spoke in a soft voice.

“Don’t worry Jess, I’m on it. And I think Volt’s always gonna be around too.”

“Jaysen, you don’t mean..”

“Yup, your stuck with me!’ Jaysen shouted.

“In that case, I’ll send the address to the bike…And good luck Jaysen

Jaysen hung up his phone and ran back to Michel. “Sorry man but I gotta go, A friend of mine needs some help!”

Michel turned around. “No problem, I’ll call and get my friends to pick me up. So maybe we’ll meet again.”

“I’m sure of it!” Jaysen ran back to his bike and sped off.


“This is for everyone!! I won’t let them, Jess..or my self down!!” Jaysen input ‘Henshin’
~Confirm~ “Confirm!”

The glass broke off as Jaysen sped up.

At New Tech, A familiar and several spawn had been gathering crates.

“Hurry and get what we need before any Riders show up!” The upper level shouted to the span as the grabbed what they could.

Suddenly three of the familiars exploded. “Sorry, I can’t let you guys steal this stuff.”

The Familiar roared. “Kill Him!!!”

“Not, today!!” Volt struck a few of the Spawns with the sword trying to make his way to the high level.

“Sorry I’m not sticking around!” The familiar dug a hole and made escape leaving the spawn.

“Damn he got, the crates!” Volt input ‘Slash’ ~Confirm~ “Confirm!” ~Rider Slash~ The sword lit up, then Volt ripped threw the Spawn.

“Some like it real hot!” The Spawn fell over and exploded.

“I gotta tell Jess about this.” Volt jumped back of the bake and drove off.

Back at Jessica’s house.

“So it made of with a crate…” Jess sat on the couch.

Jaysen turned to Jess. “Do you know what they could need that stuff for?”

“I don’t know, but we need to be careful. I’m pretty sure this isn’t the last we’ve seen of this type of stuff from them.” Jess put her head between her legs.

Jaysen sat next to her and rubbed her back. “Don’t worry, I’ll fight what ever they send at us..”

Jess rested her head on Jaysen’s lap. “I hope so Jayse, I hope so..”

Episode Seven:

Three familiars fell to the ground and exploded as Volt walked through the flames.

“This is getting crazy!” Jaysen retracted the armor, and turned around just as Jessica walked in.

“I See Number Seven got away, again.”

“Yeah right after I busted in, grabbed some crate and took off.”

Jess checked some of the broken crates. “They’ve been doing this for a month now, and what their stealing isn’t something you can get at Radio Shack. This is weapons grade stuff.”

Jayse walked over to Jess. “You mean their building something?”

“I’m only guessing but I wouldn’t put it past them. I’m gonna head home and check something’s out.”

“Well alright, I’ve got something to do so I’ll meet you back at home.” Jaysen darted outside and jumped on his bike and drove off.

“….They couldn’t be doing what I think they are, I mean how would they know?” Jess got back in the van and drove off as well.

“How can the two of you, let familiars keep stealing from OUR warehouses!!” Grissom Slammed his fist on the desk.

Beth stood up. “S.sorry Sir, but Number Seven seems to be a little different, he’s fast and always seems to have spawn on hand.”

Grissom let out a sigh. “Very well. You two do what you need to, I need to find out what’s missing.”

Beth and M-san stood up and saluted as Grissom left.

Beth grabbed her bag that was sitting by the door. “I’m outta hear!”

“Where do you think your going?” M-san turned and saw Beth making a break for it.

“You heard him your self, day off time! So I’m like the wind!” Beth ran out the door.

“hmm, I guess I can get out of here too.”

Jessica knelt down to a headstone. “I’m so sorry daddy, I couldn’t save you. But you know Jaysen’s making a fine rider, he may not be all their upstairs but he’s got a great heart.”

Jess placed three roses on the headstone, heard someone crying behind her.

Jessica walked over to the girl crying “Umm are you alright?”

The girl stood up and turned around and sniffed. “Yeah I’m fine, just a little emotional that’s all.”

Jess looked closer at the girl. “Have we met? You look so familiar to me.”

“No, I don’t think we have, or have we? I mean I’ve never good with faces.” The girl laughed.

“At least your not crying, anymore.” Jess smiled.

The girl extend her had. “I’m Beth.”

Jess shook her hand. “I’m Jessica, but you can call me Jess.”

Beth looked where Jess was. “I take it you were visiting your father?”

“Yeah, how did you know?”

“It’s all over you face.” Beth giggled a little. “I don’t mean to sound creepy, or anything but would like to get some coffee, it looks like you can use some.”

“Thanks, that would be great.” Jess picked up her back and kissed the headstone. “I’ll be back soon Dad.”

Later the two at a coffee shop.

“Beth, can I ask you something?”

Beth put her cup down. “Sure.”

“I don’t mean to pry or anything but who were you visiting?”

Beth hung her head a little. “Someone that shouldn’t have died…And it was my fault.”

Jessica sat and could do nothing but stare. “I..i’m so sorry..”

“No it’s alright, it’s easier if I talk about it.”

“I can tell you the story, but only if you sure you want to hear it.”

Jess sat up a little more. “Yeah, I’ll listen.”

“It happened almost two years ago. I use to be a pretty good boxer but then…the accident happened.”

Beth put her hands on her lap and started to tear up. “It was late and I was on my way home, and some kid tried to steal my purse. I chased him down, I mean who wouldn’t right? I caught up to him and I choked him, or at least I though I did…”

Tears started to roll down her face. “He didn’t move after that, I guess I choked him to hard, but he died right in my arms…I couldn’t fight after that, I lost my title and my reputation suffered.”

“I’m so sorry Beth, I didn’t mean to bring this up.” Jess Handed Beth a napkin.

“Thank you.” Beth whipped her eyes. “But I made a promise that day, and it was never to hurt someone again. So now everyone thinks I’m weak. And to think I only got the job I have now is because of who I was.”

“I’m sure if the understood the situation, they’d see you in a new light.”

“If only they were as understanding, but in my line of work it gets messy.” Beth took a sip of her coffee.

“What is it, you do. If you don’t mind me asking?”

“That’s classified sorry. But I need to get going. Maybe we can talk some time. I’d like to hear about your father.” Beth grabbed her bag. “Maybe we can meet hear tomorrow around two-ish?”

Jess got up from the table as well. “Sure, it beats hanging around a guy all day.”

Both girls laughed, just as Beth’s cell phone rang. “Excuse me.” Beth walked outside.

“Beth here…….understood…..I can be there in five minutes…Roger!” Beth hung up her phone just as Jess walked out.

“Everything okay?”

“Yeah, just work stuff. But I have to go, so me here tomorrow!” Beth started to run off.

“I’ll be here!” Jess shouted back as Beth ran off.

“This time the familiar won’t get away!” Beth reached into her bag and pulled out her belt.

“Hurry up! We need this part once we have it, we can start the construction!”

Several of the spawn knocked over crate after crate.

Two of the spawn were suddenly impaled by a lance and exploded. “Sorry, not today Seven!”

“Find the crate!! The Riders mine!” Seven let out a roar and made a lead at Shock she jumped over the familiar and kicked him in the back of the head knocking him to the ground.

“This time I’m not letting you leave hear a live.”

The familiar got back up and once again tried to attack Shock, but she unleashes an onslaught of punches in the Familiar’s chest and uppercut him. Once again the familiar was knocked to the ground.

Shock grabbed the familiar by the legs and threw the familiar in to beat by crates.

She then input ‘Knuckle’ ~Affirmative~ “Affirmative!” two gauntlets appears around her wrist. “This is for you Eric!”

Shock punched the familiar in the gut as sparks came off his body. “DIE!!!!” Shock punched the familiar near the spawn.

Beth input ‘Burst’ ~Affirmative~ Suddenly the gantlets lit up “Affirmative!” Shock jumped in the air and unleashed a fist of energy destroying the spawn then punched Seven in the chest.

“I’d ask you what your looking for but, your dead!.” Shock rested head on sevens shoulder. “And remember, I killed you!”

She pushed the gantlet further into his chest then let out a roar as he exploded.

“Now if only you fought like that all the time!” M-san shouted as he walked in.

Shock turned around. “If I did that, I’d be like you. Trust me I’m nothing like you!”

She ran past M-san as her suit broke off.

“I wouldn’t want you to be like me, Beth I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.” Michel said quietly to him self.

Outside sat on her motorcycle. “He’s right tough, if I did fight that way things would be different.. But it wouldn’t change the fact what I did..”

Back at Jessica’s house.

Jaysen walked into the computer room. “Find what you’re looking for Jess?”

Jess peeked her head over the computer. “Just about, I mean they stole a lot of stuff. But I know a lot of this technology so it could be a weapon, or…oh no..”

“or a what?”

“Why didn’t I see this sooner?!” Jess threw down the keyboard.

“What’s the matter?” Jaysen ran over to Jess’ side.

“They stole components to complete a rider system…”

“WHAT! Your joking I mean how do you know?” Jaysen shouted.

“This is my fathers configuration for the unit, it’s the same thing used to create yours! The only one who ever knew how the Volt system was me and my father!”

“Are you saying your father is behind this? I mean Jess he’s dead.”

‘It’s his signature all over it, and the only thing that’s missing is the power source. The plasma card..”

Jess ran out the house in tears.

Jaysen turned only to see her run. “It couldn’t be, he wouldn’t do this…someone else has to be doing this…”

Jess ran to the park near by and fell to her knees then let out a scream. “How could dad!”

In a darkened lab.

A Familiar walked in. “Is that all you need?”

“All I need is, a plasma card. Then I can finish it.” The mysterious voice replied.

“Excellent, we’ll get one, one way or another! And I’ll handle it my self. No more failures.”

The familiar laughed.

Episode Eight:

Volt, Shock and Blitz were suddenly knocked into a near by wall, just a s a familiar walked up to the three.

“I told you this before. You wouldn’t stand a chance, even if the three of you worked together!”

Volt staggered to get up. “I’m not going to let you kill us! If you think you can do it, THEN DO IT!!”

The familiar grunted and knocked Volt back into the wall. “As you wish!”

Volt let out a terrifying scream.

Earlier that day…

Jess sat on a park bench looking down at the grass. “….Why…Did he steal these things? Or is someone using his plans? I mean he’s dead, how could he make something if he’s dead.”

Suddenly two hands appeared on Jess shoulders. “If I was dead would you still be able to feel me?”

Tears rolled down Jess’ cheeks. “You could be Jaysen for all I know, and my mind is just playing tricks on me..”

“Listen Jessica, I don’t have time to explain but there’s a safe under my bed. And in that case is something Volt will need.”

Jess started to turn around. “D..ad..”

“No Jess, don’t look. You’ll need to fix it, I have faith in you. But you must finish what I started.”

Just as quickly as the hands appeared they had vanished.

Jess jumped up and turned around quickly. “He’s alive? I need to tell Jaysen!”

Jessica ran off just as, a showed figure stood behind a tree. “This is all, I can do.”

Jaysen sat at the computer browsing websites just as Jess came busing in the door.

“HE’S ALIVE!!”

Jaysen fell out the chair. “Damn it Jess, this better be good!”

“My fathers alive! I just talked to him in the park!”

Jaysen got back in the chair and turned to Jess. “I know you want him to be alive, and I do too. But Jess he’s not coming back.”

Jess ran to the bedroom and pushed the bed out the way, revealing a safe embedded in the floor. “It was him!!! I knew it!!”

Jaysen came running in. “What the?”

Jess mumbled to her self. “The password..what could it be? I mean he wouldn’t be dumb enough to use something so easy right?”

Jaysen stood in the door way. “Umm Jess?”

“What about..” Jess entered ‘Volt’ just as she did the door popped open. “Who knew!”

Jess jumped up and slammed the door in Jaysen’s face. “Come back later!”

“What the hell?!” Jaysen knocked on the door. “Jess what did you find?”

“I SAID GO AWAY!!” Jess shouted back.

“Umm I think your words were ‘come back later’.”

Jaysen heard the sound of foot steps coming near the door. Just as the door opened Jaysen was hit with a shoe.

“You know what I meant!! Now beat it!!” Jess threw another shoe at Jaysen hitting him in the head as he ran down the hall way.

“Damn what’s her problem? Is she on the ra..” Suddenly another shoe hit Jaysen in the head.

“DON’T YOU FINISH THAT SENTENCE!!!” Jess slammed the door once again.

“Psycho!!!” Jaysen grabbed his helmet and started to head for the door just as the computer went off.

“Joy a familiar.” Jaysen checked the screen. “Two of them, that looks like the storage center.”

Jayse ran out the door and rode off.

Back in Jess room.

“I though this type of technology wasn’t compatible with the system! I mean this changes everything!”

Jess turned the device over. “Now I see what he meant, this is an easy fix butt will take time. And I’ll need the Volt Plasma Card.”

Jess jumped up and ran out the door. “Jaysen! Where are you?!?!”

She walked passed the computer. “Where did that idiot go?” Suddenly Jess looked at the monitor. “Oh that’s.. wait a minute! That’s a military surplus warehouse!”

“I know he can take care of him self but, I have a bad feeling about this.” Jess walked over to the window and looked outside. “Be careful….”


Three spawn fell over and exploded, just as Volt struck with the saber.


“Aww come on now, the computer said there was two familiars here.”

“So your Volt eh?” A familiar emerged with a metal case in hand. “You don’t look like much..”

“The same could be said about your freak!” Volt jumped in the air to kick the familiar but was punched in the gut and sent back to the ground.

“I’m not one of these low level fools. I’m evolution!” A sword appeared in the familiars hands the struck Volt knocking him back more.

Out of nowhere a bust of energy was sent at the familiar but was deflected.

Blitz and Shock came running into the storage.

Blitz turned to see Volt on the ground. “Pathetic.”

Shock jumped into the air to pull a kick as well, just when the familiar was about to punch her, the familiar was shot by Volt.

“Oh no you don’t!”

Shock landed her kick knocking the familiar back.

Blitz ran up and hacked away at the familiar not even making a dent.

“Get out my way!” The familiar back handed Blitz into a near by wall.

Blitz fell out of the indentation he left in the all. “H…he’s strong!”

Shock grabbed her lance and tried to strike the familiar from behind, but the familiar turned and caught her lance in his left hand, and unleashed an onslaught of slashes on her.

Shock fell to her knees. “Gah!!”

Volt ran up and struck the familiar from behind while it was distracted, but again the attacks did nothing.

“Damn nothings working!” Volt quickly jumped back a few feet.

“Hey you two!” Volt looked at both Blitz and Shock. “If you guys don’t feel like dying, we gotta work together!”

Blitz staggered to get to his feet. “…I don’t like this, but we don’t have a choice!”

The familiar stomped on Shock causing sparks to come off her body. “Gahh!! Just do something!” Shock shouted as she grabbed the familiar’s foot to knock him out the way.

Volt entered ‘Kick’ in his belt, as Blitz entered ‘Breaker’. Bolt input ‘Knuckle’ and ‘Bust’ in.

~Confirm~ ~Ready~ ~Affirmative~ All three riders confirmed at the same time.

Volt then flipped backward, and stood at a running start position. ~Take off~ suddenly he was sent flying toward the familiar, then leapt up on one leg into the performing a flying kick at the familiar.

Blitz’s axe lit up in a blood red color, just as he made a dash at the familiar as well.

Shocks jumped into the air and unleash a fist of energy that wrapped around Volt’s right leg.

After both of Blitz and Volt’s attacks hit and explosion sent the three riders flying back.

The three looked into the smoke only to see the familiar on one knee.

“Ha…haha..hahahaha. If that’s the limit of your power your will all die!” The familiar stood up with ease and dusted him self off. “I assure you Number two will not be beat by wimps.”

Number Two swung his sword at. Volt, Shock and Blitz were suddenly knocked into a near by wall, just a s a familiar walked up to the three.

“I told you this before. You wouldn’t stand a chance, even if the three of you worked together!”

Volt staggered to get up. “I’m not going to let you kill us! If you think you can do it, THEN DO IT!!”

The familiar grunted and knocked Volt back into the wall. “As you wish!”

Volt let out a terrifying scream. Number two had stabbed Volt right in the arm with his blade.

‘Tell me Volt, does it hurt?! Are you afraid?!” Number two slashed away at Volt causing sparks to fly off with every strike.

With every blow Volt could do nothing but let out screams of pain.

A second familiar emerged. “Sir the card is safe, we may return at and moment!”

Number two grabbed Volt by the neck. “When your stronger, come and play with me again!” Number two slashed at the belt and threw Volt into a pile of boxes.

“Let’s go!” Number two turned to the other familiar.

Shock and Blitz stood up.

Blitz picked up his axe. “Sorry, you’re not safe yet!”

“Oh sit down and shut up!.” Number two swung his sword at the two knocking them back down.

Blitz and Shocks suits broke off as they hit the ground.

Suddenly the two familiars vanished leaving the three alone.

Jaysen pulled him self out of the boxes. “What, just happened?” Jaysen held a wound on his head as he looked around to see the damage.

“Great, he got some civilians too.” Jaysen ran over to check the two.

“Michel!!!” Jaysen fell to his knees. “It can’t be!!”

Both Beth and Michel started to come too.

Beth sat up slowly. “Hey, M-san where’d Volt and the familiar go?”

Michel looked over and saw Jaysen. “W..what the hell are you doing here?”

Jaysen looked over at Michel. “You’re Blitz! I can’t believe it..”

Michel points to the broken belt that Jaysen had on. “I guess that makes you Volt!”

All three could do nothing but sit there and look at one another.

Episode Nine:

Jaysen stood up. “You’ll be happy to know, I won’t get in your way any more!”

Michel got up holding his right arm. “You know what it does! I don’t have some wimp to get in my way!”

“Yeah, whatever. Just remember who saved you half the time! I think that was me!!” Jaysen nudged Michel and walked out. “Do what ever you want I’m outta here!”

Michel held his arm tighter. “Aggrh! Next time Jaysen, I’ll KILL YOU!!”

Beth ran over and led M-san up. “We have to get out of here, we’ll deal with him later.”



Jaysen staggered into Jessica’s house and crashed on the flood.

Jess ran and saw Jaysen face down on the floor, and quickly pulled him to the couch. “I knew something would happen, why didn’t you wait for me?!”

Jess held Jaysen tightly, and noticed the belt had been cracked. “Oh Jaysen, what happened to you?”

“I…I want to keep fighting…” Jaysen mumbled as he lost consciousness.
“Even when your beat up, you just don’t quit do you?” Jess took the broken belt off and covered Jaysen up.

“Trust me Jaysen, you’ll fight again…I promise.” Jess took the belt and went to her room.


Grissom threw a chair breaking the glass door. “If you had the chance to kill Volt why didn’t you?!”

M-san grabbed Grissom by the collar and lifted him up. “Do you realize what we went through?! We’ve take your orders without question! And you get ‘upset’ because we didn’t kill Volt! How dare you! I have never seen you once get out there to fight, all you do is bark orders!”

Grissom looked into M-san eyes. “You listen to me! I’m your boss!”

M-san shook Grissom, “Now you listen to me! You think you can rule over us but I’ve got news for you! You’re nothing! Don’t forget you have bosses too. And your on the bubble.”

M-san dropped Grissom to the ground. “Beth let’s go!”

Beth turned to walk out the door. “Roger!”

Grissom managed to get to his knees. “You both are FIRED, do you hear me FIRED!!”

Beth turned around again. “No Grissom you are, no riders no job! You’ve failed! We have our new orders and they don’t involve you!”

“I’ll see to it that both of you are out of the job!” Grissom then kicked another chair, as the two walked off.

“Did we just really do that?! I mean wow!” Beth shouted as she jumped around the hall way.

M-san stopped and turned to Beth. “We had our orders Beth, and he’s not apart of it. This is a turning point. Things have changed.”

“Yeah I know, but I mean things have happened so quickly.” Beth let out a sigh and walked off.

“….They sure have.” M-san went to catch up.



Jaysen slowly started to open his eyes and groaned. “M..mm where??”

“Ahh your awake!” Jess sat up in the chair.

Jaysen rolled over. “How long was I out?”

Jess got up and stretched. “Three days. I was starting to get a little worried about you.”

“What about the familiars, I doubt they’ve been quiet.”

“A few here and there, some task force has been taking them out. But I’m sure you can guess who’s in charge of them.”

Jaysen stood up to his a little shaken. “Blitz and Shock right?”

Jess grabbed hold of Jayse “Good guess, of course their identities are still secret. But I have a feeling you know who they are.”

“Right now, I don’t care about them. I can’t do anything to help the city any more. Volt’s dead.” Jaysen clinched his fist as tears started to swell in his eyes.

“It’s alright Jaysen, Just worry about healing. The city’s alright for now.” Jess help Jaysen to the bed again.

“I’ll bring you something to eat, so you just take it easy.” Jess started for the door.

“Thanks Jess, for everything.” Jayse laid down and turned over.

Jess walked out the room. “You’re welcome.”



Number two walked into the lab. “How’s the process going professor?”

Roland turned around. “Exceedingly, well. This new system is forty-seven percent stronger then the Volt system.”

“Keep working on it, I want the other two riders taken care of as well.”

“Oh that won’t be a problem. From what I’ve seen ‘Blitz’ and ‘Shock’ are only a few steps up from Volt. After all I made him.” Roland took of his glasses and walked over to the desk. “This is the subject you chose?”

“Yes. We’ve done some ‘enhancing’ so he’s perfect for the job. He’ll be available to you in a few days.”

Roland turned around. “I’ll have my team take over. I have things to do.”

Number two stood outside the door. “Very, well. But don’t make us regret giving you so much freedom.”

Roland put on his glasses. “I won’t sir.”



Jess sat in the lad. “Alright, I replace this, with a new one of these. Set this system to point three-six.”

Jess started to tinker with the belt. “Awesome, the new OS is online. Systems are all green. Now, for the plasma card.”

Jaysen walked in. “What are you doing? Jess?”

“You wanted to help the city right? I’m giving you the change to.”

Jaysen peeked his head over her shoulder. “Come on show me!!”

Jess hit Jaysen over the head with a screw driver. “Can’t you wait!!”

“oohhh, that hurt Jess.” Jaysen held his head. “I’m still injured you know!”

“Yeah right.” Jess rolled her eyes.

“You haven’t changed Jaysen, not one bit!”

“Professor!” Jaysen jumped up and hugged Roland.

Roland hit Jaysen in the head “Get off me!!”

Jaysen clinched his head again. “Owww, not you too!”

“How’s the belt going Jess?”

“Every things set, all I need is the plasma card.” Jess turned around and went back to working on the belt.

“Well then I’ll make your day. I enhanced this card so it’s not just a normal card.” Roland handed the card over to Jess.

“It should handle the new system as well as the OS.”

“Understood.” Jess took the card and went back to work.
Jaysen got back up. “Would someone tell me what he came back! I though you were dead.”

Roland turned around. “It’s a long story Jaysen, and I don’t have time to fill you in. What’s important is getting Volt back. The city’s going to need him.”

Jaysen let out a sign. “What about the special forces? I’m sure they wouldn’t want to see Volt again.”

Jess jumped out the chair. “And they won’t!”

“Ahh it’s finished?”

Jess handed over a new belt. “Jaysen, Volt as you know him is dead. But in his place I…we’ve created a much more powerful Volt!”

Roland pointed to the belt. “The new system is completely vocalized. Form your Henshin to your weapons.”

“Of course your going to need this as well.” Jess handed Jaysen a bracelet. “This is what you’ll need to transform. Think of this as your partner. Don’t leave it behind.”

Jaysen took the bracelet. “Awesome. Thanks Jess and you too Professor!”

Jess turned around a again and typed a few things into the computer. “Of course your going to need to train with your new powers.”

Roland turned. “And Jaysen, with new powers comes a new name. We’ve decided on calling you Voltage now.”

“Hmm shocking!” Jaysen laughed a little bit.

Jess threw another screw driver at Jaysen’s head, “Then get to work!”

“Owww, I’m going!” Jaysen ran out the door.

Jess stood up and watched Jaysen run out the door. “He’s got a lot of work to do.”

“Indeed. But he has to do it. Well Jess I need to go..”

“You always need to go Dad, where do you need to go?”

“Jess please don’t ask these type of questions. Their are things I can’t tell you right now. But I want you to have this.” Roland handed Jess a book. “Don’t open it now, you’ll know when, but not right now.”

Jess let out a sigh. “Alright. Just be careful dad.”

Roland kissed Jessica on the forehead. “Good bye Jess.” Roland walked out.



A long haired brunette woman entered. “Welcome back M-san, Beth. I’ve heard you cleaned out a spawning nest. Nice work”

M-san jumped up.” T..thank you ma’am!”

Beth rolled her eyes. “Put your eyes back in your head.”

M-san whipped his forehead. “It’s not like that!!”

The woman stood watching. “You two crack me up, but sadly it’s time for work.”

Both saluted. “Yes ma’am!”

The woman groaned. “Please stop calling me ‘Ma’am’, call me Peggy please.”

Both again saluted ”Yes, Ma’a…errr Peggy!”

Peggy turned off the lights and activated a 3D map of the city. “This is your next target. It’s a part of the old subway system. We’ve had reports of Spawn here.”

Beth jumped up. “Should be easy enough.”

Peggy turned on the lights. “I figured you might say that. So get to it, and good luck!.”

Both saluted. “Yes Ma’am!”

Peggy groaned and walked out the door.

M-san grabbed his bag. “Let’s go.”

“Right!” Beth grabbed her stuff and headed out.


Jaysen sat in an open field. “Well that’s enough.. for now.”

Jaysen’s cell phone went off. “Yeah?”

“We have some familiars in an old subway station about a mile from you. So get to work!”

Jaysen shouted into the phone. “Who is this?!”

“….Unbelievable…just move it dumb ass!!’ Jess shouted back.

“Oh Jess, sorry about that, I’m on it!” Jaysen ran off to the subway.


Jaysen ran up to the station to see several spawn. “Looks like it’s play time!”

“Henshin!” Jaysen ran toward the crowd of spawn. ~Stand by~ “Go!”

Jaysen was wrapped in a gold shade of glass, then broke a part as he ran.

Voltage jumped into the crowd tackling two spawn to the ground. Voltage kicked two more back sending them flying.

“Blaster!” Voltage punched and kicked a few more away. ~Stand by~ Voltage jumped into the air. “Go!” A blaster appeared in his and fired several shots into the crowd.

Voltage landed in the middle of the spawn just as the all exploded. “Guess who’s back!”


Voltage turned around and looked that the entrance of the subway. “Oh yeah!”

Episode Ten:

A black Hummer pulled up to the abandoned subway.

M-san Jumped out the hummer and adjusted his vest. “It looks like someone’s been here already.”

Beth walked from behind, and tired her hair back. “Burns, scorch marks. These are rider trademarks.”

The mildly exited M-san ran to the entrance. “I hear a fight going on.”

Beth walked past M-san as he rider suit appeared. “Then let’s get going, eh?”

Deep in the tunnel Voltage had engaged a few spawn.

“Oh no you don’t!” Voltage leapt up into the air catching a spawn from escaping.

“I didn’t say you could go!” Voltage round housed kicked the spawn, he caught knocking into the other three he had been fighting.

Voltage unleashed a flurry of punches on another spawn, then kicked another into a near by wall.

“Duel edge!” The bracelet lit up. ~Stand By~ “Go!” A sword appeared in both hands, just as he struck the spawn.

“Sweet!” Voltage jumped into the air, then cut through a spawn causing it to split apart and explode.

Voltage spun around cutting two more in half. The two fell over and exploded, then voltage threw the sword in his left hand and impaling it into the spawn near the wall.

Voltage walked over, and removed the sword. “Not a bad test run.”

The spawn fell over and exploded.

“Well it looks I can’t go any farther, but at least I cleared these out.”


“And who the hell are you?!” Blitz shouted as he walked up.

Voltage turned around. “Some friend you turned out to be, you don’t even remember our good times! I want a divorce!”
“Jaysen?! How the hell do you have rider powers!”


Voltage walked into the light a little more. “Now if I told you, it wouldn’t be a surprise now would it?”

Blitz walked closer. “Just give me the belt, and go home.”

“Sorry Michel, but I can’t do that. And if you get in my way, I’m gonna have to hurt you.”

Blitz stated to laugh. “Funny, you haven’t beat me once.”

“Maybe, but today’s a new day my friend.” Voltage struck Blitz, with the sword knocking him to the ground.

“I’m not, the weak Volt you though I was.” Voltage pulled out the blade that was in the wall.

Blitz got up to one knee. “I’m not impressed Jaysen!” Blitz in put ‘Axe’ Just as the axe appeared Blitz was struck with both sabers. Blitz hit the ground.

“The kid gloves are off, Michel. You’re going home in a body bag!” Voltage ran over and struck Blitz in the chest again with both blades.

Veering in pain. “Aggh. Who knew you fought dirty!.” Blitz got back up, and tackled Voltage to the ground.

“Now it looks like, I’m going to send you home in a body bag!”

“Not today!” Voltage head butt, Blitz then slashed him in the chest with one of the swords.”

Blitz rolled away and grabbed his axe. “Time to end this Volt!”

“I agree!” Voltage ran toward Blitz. “Rider Slash!” ~Stand by~ “Goooo!” Both swords lit up, and then Voltage slashed at Blitz. Once in the chest and the other across him stomach.

Michel fell over just as his suit powered down.

“I told you, this was a new day.” Voltage raised his sword up. “This is for all the times you tried to kill me!”

Michel turned over onto his back “Then do it!! What do I have left to love for!”.

Voltage brought down the sword close to his face. “You know, if I killed you. I wouldn’t be any better then you!”

Shock ran up and kicked Voltage away. “Oh no you don’t!”

Voltage rolled back a little. “Hmm, you. I’m not going to kill him so just go.” Voltage stood back up. “I taught him want I wanted to.”

Voltage walked past the two of them as they could do nothing but watch.


Beth powered down, looking at M-san. “What was that about?”

M-san got to one knee. “He’s changed…”

Beth jumped up. “So? I know you’ll beat him next time. I mean he just got lucky, that’s all.”

“Whatever!” M-san punched ground. “This isn’t over Jaysen, I’ll pay you back ten fold!”

Jess passed back and forth the living room floor, while biting her middle finger nail. “Damn it, where did everyone go!! It’s been two and half hours. I know Jaysen is slow but damn this takes the cake!”


“You know if you keep pacing you’ll wear out the floor.” Jaysen shouted as he leaned in the door way.

Jess ran and punched Jaysen knocking him down to the floor. “You idiot! Where the hell have you been?!”

Jaysen pulled Jessica’s left leg from under her causing her to fall to the floor too.

“Now what the hell was that for?!?!” Jess then punched Jaysen in the stomach.

“Owww, you psycho! I could have a baby in there!” Jaysen shouted back and rubbing his belly jokingly.

Jess stood back up, and dusted her self off. “Right and the day you have a kid, is the day I get a scientist of the millennium award!”

“Well your in luck!” Jaysen handed Jess a book from a near by book shelf. “I’d like to present you with scientist of the millennium!”

Jess took the book holding it proudly. “I’d like to thank, the academy, the nerds, God, and idiots that voted for me.”

Jaysen started clapping, just then he was hit with the book.

“Dumb ass! Can’t you be serious?” Jess turned away.


“Kill joy..” Jaysen mumbled. “If you wanted to know about the Voltage system, if was awesome. But..”

“BUT?! There is no ‘but’ when I make something!!” Jess turned around again and kicked Jaysen in the foot.

“Damn it woman! You keep it up, I’m calling the cops claming spousal abuse!” Jaysen snapped back.

“Oh stop your bitching, and tell me the problem Nancy!” Jess Kicked Jaysen again.

“That’s it you two dollar door..” Jaysen paused for a minute.

“Oh come on cat got your tongue?” Jess snickered.

“BAH!” Jaysen turned around. “The conformation in the suit is slightly off.”

“That’s an easy fix, I can adjust the bracelet for auto confirm. Is that all Nancy?” Jess snickered again.

Out of nowhere a shoe hit Jess right in the head.

“That’s what you get!” Jaysen got up and ran to the kitchen.

Jess stood their, red in the face. “YOU KNOW THIS MEANS WAR!!!” Jess the ran after Jaysen.


Across the street from Jess’ house Roland stood watching into the window.

“It’s better this way Jessica. You’ve got Jaysen, to protect you.” Roland walked off into the shadows.

“Interesting. So Volt had an upgrade.” Peggy sat down and crossed her legs. “Well done M-san, you as well Beth.”

“Umm Ma’ma…Err Peggy! We failed at killing Volt and were beat.” Beth hung her head slightly.


Peggy uncrossed her legs and walked over to the two. “On the contrary. You brought back vital information, so this is by no means a failed mission. Well done you two!”

“Michel, Take some time off you had a tough fight. Beth, I want you on point for the day.”

Both saluted. “Yes Ma’am!”

Peggy let out a groan and walked out the door. “Oh, and dismissed!”


Beth relaxed. “Well that was painless!”

M-san turned away. “Easy for you, to say! I mean where the hell were you?!”


“If I remember correctly, you were so exited about it you told me to stay outside in case more spawn showed up. So don’t blame this on me, just because Jaysen gave you your first beating doesn’t give you the right to mop.” Beth snapped back.

“Oh yeah, and if it wasn’t for me. He could have put you in a pine box, so don’t forget that!” Beth stormed out.

M-san turned and punched the wall. “Agggh! Things weren’t suppose to end like this!!”

M-san dropped to the floor. “Why did this happen?!” M-san punched the ground repeatedly.

Beth had been leaning outside the door. “Michel…”

Roland walked in the lab, just as he put on his coat.

Roland adjusted his glasses and walked over to the desk. “How’s the unit doing?”

One of the researchers got out of the chair. “Savage unit is complete!”

“Already? What happened?” Roland scrolled though some papers. “It could only be complete once the subject was infused with the cells.”

“Number two brought him by, while you were out. The subject has the belt as well.” The researcher handed Roland a folder.

Roland scrolled though the folders. “His vitals are great. Stats are higher then I hoped. F-cells have bonded nicely as well.”

“Yes they did, we were just as surprised. So Number Two took him for training about an hour ago.”

“I see. Where’d he take him, I’m interested in seeing how the unit performs.” Roland took off his glasses and slid them into his jacket pocket.

“Their in the Dares quarry.”

“I’ll head their now.” Roland walked out the lab.

Jaysen fell on the living room floor breathing heavily.

“Y..you didn’t have to.. throw cans at me.” Jaysen’s arms dropped to the floor.

“Sure I did!” Jess snickered.

“I think I’m gonna be sick.” Jaysen held his stomach and rolled over.

Jess looked at the computer. “Get up Nancy, we’ve got a party and you need to crash.”

Jaysen let out a sigh and sat up. “Where?”

“I’m getting multiple Familiar signals, and unusual one too. Their in the Dares Quarry.”

Jaysen grabbed the bracelet. “It’s fixed right?”

“Of course!” Jess grabbed her bag. “I’m coming this time, I need to get some data for a project.”

“Right! Then lets hit the road!”

Jaysen jumped on the bike, just as Jess got in the van.

Several spawn exploded, just as a figure with bright green eyes emerged from the flames.

Roland folded his arms. “Do you think it’s wise using spawn for something like this?”

“If we used humans, the riders would show up. I can’t have his debut ruined before then.” Number Two continued to watch the mysterious figure slaughter the spawn.

“You hear that?” Roland turned around. “It sounds like a motorcycle. And something else.”

Number Two listened to the sounds coming from the distance. “Humans, no doubt.”

Roland slightly exited. “Should we have Savage play with them?”

“That’s not a bad idea. Savage, you have playmates!” Number Two shouted.

Jaysen pulled a head of Jess in the van, and raised his arm. “Henshin!” ~Stand By~ The glass broke off, just as Jaysen sped up.

Jess watched Voltage pull away. “I guess it’s show time!”

Voltage slammed the breaks at the cliff. “Aww A party just for me!”


Down the cliff Roland quickly turned around. “That voice!”

Number Two looked toward Roland. “Who is it?”

“It’s Volt! Get Savage out of here, I’ll deal with him” Roland threw off his coat.

“Very well. Savage, Spawn clear out!” Number Two as well ass the spawn dove into the ground.

“I guess, it’s come down to this.” Roland jumped into the air landing near Voltage.

“You couldn’t stay away could you Jaysen!” Roland shouted.

Voltage turned, to Roland. “…What the hell was that?!

Roland shouted back. “You had to play hero! You just couldn’t stay home this time and ruin everything.”

Jess pulled up in the van and jumped out. “Did I miss..anything…D..d.dad?”

“You brought Jessica here too!” Roland’s skin started to crack.

“Dad, what are you doing here? We detected familiars so we came.”
Jaysen pointed. “Jess I don’t think that’s the issue, his face his breaking.”


Roland snarled. “I can’t let you ruin my plan! I can still live my life, with you Jessica!”

Jess fell to her knees in tears. “You’re a familiar?! How could you!”

The rest of Roland’s flesh broke off, emerging a grey colored familiar.

“Jess, come with me. I can protect you from the familiars!”

Jessica held her head down, clinching her fists. “My father is dead…You’re nothing but a monster…”

“I’m still, your father Jess. Just immortal! I can make you this way too!”

“No…” Jess stood up, with her head down. “Jaysen, please. End this…”

Voltage turned to Jess. “Are you sure Jess.”

“Please Jaysen. He’s NOT MY FATHER!” Jess cried out.

Voltage clinched his fist and ran at Roland.

“You’ve made a mistake Jaysen!!” Roland let out a roar, and charged at Voltage.

Voltage punched Roland in the gut, knocking him back.

“I can’t let you live Roland. How can you deceive your own daughter? I can’t understand why you lied. Or how you came back, but I can’t forgive you for this!”

Voltage unleashed a flurry of punches on Roland, knocking him down to the ground.

Roland got up, but staggered back. “Jess Just read the book I gave you and you’ll understand everything!”

Jessica clinched her fists. “Just shut up!! I don’t want to hear anything from you!”

Roland’s hands turned into blades. “I’ll deal with him and then we’ll talk Jess. You need to understand why I did this!”

Roland slashed at Voltage but kept missing. Voltage ducked under Roland’s onslaught and punched him away.

“Duel Edge!” ~Stand By~ Two swords appeared in each hand. “I’m sorry, but it’s over!”

Voltage slashed at Roland repeatedly causing sparks to come of his body.

Roland thrust a blade at Voltage, but voltage slashed though the blade.

Roland cradled this torn appendage. “I didn’t think you were this good..”

“Please, shut up!” Voltage kicked Roland down the cliff into the quarry.

Voltage threw one of the swords right through Roland’s legs.

Voltage raised his left arm. “Rider Kick…” ~Stand By~ Voltage’s right leg lit up as well as emitted electricity.

Jaysen Jumped off the cliff extending his right toward Roland.

“Forgive me Jessica..”

Voltage landed the kick on Roland’s chest and flipped back landing on his left knee.

Roland fell to the ground on his back, while small bolts of electricity emitted from his body. “W..well…done..”

“Please don’t make this any harder.” Voltage pulled the sword out of Roland’s leg.

“Do..what you have to… But all I ask that you protect my daughter..” Roland extend his hand toward Jessica on the cliff. “I’m so.. sorry..”

Voltage turned and walked away. “Stay in her memory where you belong..”

Roland’s body exploded in gold flames.


Jessica fell to her knees and cried. Just as Jaysen powered down.

“I’m sorry Jess.” Jaysen knelt down and hugged Jess.

Jess tightly held Jaysen. “It’s not your fault. Just promise me you won’t do the same thing..”

“I won’t Jess, I promise..” Jaysen held her back tighter, as Jess let out her tears.
