This is Mortal Kombat's answer to Marvel vs Capcom.

Im actually looking forward to this.

I want to see if Wonder Woman will use her lasso for a fatality.

Alright time to revive this monster since there's new info and even a new trailer! But anyways here's the deal. A. Confirmed characters so far are as follows:

Mortal Kombat- Shang Tsung, Sonya Blade, Scorpion and my fave Sub-Zero.
Dc-Superman, Batman, The Flash(Who by the way looks so freaking awesome in the new video), and Catwoman.

B. There are two new "kombats" Free Fall kombat which you can see in Jayse's vid where when you knock a character off a ledge and you're falling down to another you can fight in midair. And Klose Kombat where the game zooms in and kinda turns into a boxing match where the screen shakes alot.

Another thing I learned from the podcast is that Dc villains and Mortal Kombat characters will have Fatalities! While the heroes will have Brutalities but it probably won't be as gory as some of the other games. Alright that's all the info I have so far cause I haven't listened to the second podcast but yeah I'm really freaking excited about this game now.

Free fall kombat sounds pretty badass.

Now my next worry is the fighting engine. While the previous gen Mortal Kombat games were fun, the fighting system was so stiff. Let's hope Midway learns from their mistakes.

Oh my god, this game is going to be so awesome. I saw demos of Superman fighting and he is going to be kicka$$. Two of my favorite things together. Even though, I have not played a Mortal Kombat game in years.
