Drowning

I feel like I’m drowning but there’s no one there to save me, sometimes I feel I can barely breath but I’m always brought back to life. It’s not easy to explain but I haven’t always felt this way, now it’s like I’m free falling only I don’t know how to land.

The well of emotion keeps getting deeper as I get closer to the edge treading isn’t an option, I’m falling to the bottom slowly screaming for help as I try to hold on no one hears me crying out. I’m losing myself in a false reality that no one seems to understand, all I know is I can’t live like this for ever.

A world I thought I knew is slowly fading into nothingness as darkness falls my tears become dust letting the world see that deep down I really do have feelings, that I’m just not a toy that they can play with that my life isn’t as perfect as they think it is.

Withering branches on a weeping willow hang as the rain pours causing them to sag until the leaves fall to the ground leaving nothingness a bear tree with no one to take care of it no way of survival, when spring comes it slowly blooms back into life bringing new feelings to the world around it.

Rain drops hit the ground as tears fall from a child’s eyes as she rocks back and forth wondering why she was put here questioning everything her curiosity is killing her inside as she seeks out the answers to questions she’s had her entire life, she closes her eyes wishing those questions would fade with the reality that she’s living a false dream of someday being someone people look up to.

Invisible to the world her emotions causing her heart to break as she falls in love for the 1st time wishing she could be held by that person wondering when she’ll walk down the aisle, say two words she thought she’d never say in a million years bringing her back to a reality that maybe the world isn’t so bad after all. A feeling of emptiness slowly disappearing as she comes to the conclusion that no matter what people love her for who she is inside not outside.

Premonition

If you looked into my eyes would you see your future or a misunderstood past? Would your memories flood my mind or would they help me to understand. I’ve seen it all the pain the suffering the sorrow the shame but I’ve never understood what it meant until now God gave me a gift one I’ve often considered a curse, can never truly explain.

Some people think I’m crazy when I try to tell them I’ve seen their future, what might happen if their not careful but they often ignore it thinking I’m just messing around well reality check is I’m not. Maybe it’s hard to explain but I have the power of premonition, it’s not a curse but a god given gift.

I’m often misunderstood because of this gift but there are those out there that understand what I go through because of it, are willing to help me understand the good as well as bad parts about having this gift. No I’m not crazy although sometimes I claim to think so I know for a fact I was given this gift for a reason, if it’s to help make this world a better place then so be it.

I’ve hid from reality for so long because I was scared of what it might hold, now I’ve had a look into my own future one that’s filled with love and compassion. Call me crazy call me a freak but what ever you do don’t call me a lire because what I say is true, if you chose not to believe then be my guest because it’s not up to me anymore.

On the bus to the station,
Only ten minutes walk,
But against the clock I'm now racin'.
Run down to the platform, just in time
The train arriving three minutes late,
This is what happens after a late night.

In college, walking with a smile.
Trying to look awake and fine.
Meet those friends at the start of the day,
The cool, the beautiful, and the one you all think is gay.

But sometimes, it does feel right.

The stress of life, it's addictive.
You go out there,

I might be in a circle, but

Stuck in class for three hours straight,

Standing there, waiting to unleah the rest,
I just remembered,
What am I gonna to do next?

Class is over, but missed the train home,
Stuck at the station, another twenty minutes are BORING...
Cold and bored, but at least awake.

"Do I want pie or cake?"

Train to central arrives on time,
Ah crap, I'm stuck next to a mime.
Glasgow Central, ten minutes away,
...Do I have enough money to pay?
Oh, I have my ZoneCard. Never mind.
Asshole of a conductor,
His annoyance's been ruptured,
I can travel on this route now. haha.
Twat.

Arriving on time, just as expected.
A guy runs past like he's late for his own wedding.
Train back home's been cancelled to very bad hail.

Stuck in the low level, thinking the cancelation is bad,
Then it hut me,
...I forgot my bag!

So..This is the first time I've posted something I've written here. I'm not sure how to format it but here goes.

Dear Michael

Listening to all you’ve done and given the world I try to find what I need to say about you

You shaped and changed so much of what you did that the world can’t move without thinking of your talent. Giving all you could, taking what was thrown back at you.

Unbreakable yet fragile.

Complex and simple, you gave and the world took so much it almost forgot what you could show.

Your simplest move on the dance floor, so hard and intriguing that we all chase after what you’ve left behind.

Most important to me is what you taught me even if few people ever see it.
what you taught the world, you showed me the same things, at least I always felt like you were speaking to me.

Putting so much emphasis on a spin

Putting your hands over your head and striking a pose

The way your shoulders moved as your attitude shined through your music. Making the almost impossible moves seem possible

Singing and shouting in that voice that made people instantly want to try to match what only you have been able to do.

You made something as strange as wearing one glove, seem so mysterious and awesome that the world followed your every move.

You taught us to come together to heal the world, to care for others more than we had thought we did.

We never left you alone, but even when you left us we never forgot because we couldn’t …we can’t say goodbye… I never will

You taught me so much without my ever meeting you. You taught me that it didn’t matter if I was black or white even though I felt detached from myself at times. You made me comfortable with being black and not looking it. Because of that I always felt close to you some way, through my music and yours I felt like I knew a little more about you… Thank you for helping me become who I am.
