A special announcement

Alright people, so I wanted to say a few things. I want to thank everyone for making TF the place it is today, yeah we’ve had a hell of a ride and going into our fourth year in October let’s make sure the ride doesn’t stop here!

So I’m going to announce right here we will be upgrading to 4.0!

I know this is going to be a massive adjustment for everyone but I know we can do it together.

First off I know the styles won’t work so much BUT I’m going to try and still make styles like I normally do this applies to User created stuff as well. So please bear with me on that front.

Next thing some features. Well that’s gonna kinda be up in the air since I’ll have to see who works and who doesn’t. The forum should be around be around no matter what but I’ll let everyone know how that goes.

Also I’d also like to point out we’ll be taking the Tokusatsu Fusion name permanently. Chances are I won’t renew the Ranger zone domain, but we’ll see. TF is OUR name always has been always will be.

So with that I bring you OUR logo (yeah I know it’s so basic but hey it’s us!).

Now when will I do the upgrade? It would be in about a week.

So there you have it folks! As we head into year four let’s make this a hell of a year guys!

Upgrading to vbulletin version 4 eh? Prepare for bugs and errors that will occur after the upgrade (and alot of fixing up to do when that happens)...here's why:

About 6 to 8 months ago (can't remember), RangerCrew (formerly known as StarPoints RangerCast "later Star{pomts RangerCrew") was upgraded to vbulletin version 4...after that, alot of problems happened. There were bugs and errors everywhere after the upgrade was done. Most of them have already been fixed up (too many months for Fury Diamond to get them fixed up). Its good now and we gotten used to it despite that many members dislike the new look.

Meogog brought Power Empire back again for the third time but went to Invision Power Board instead because he refuses to upgrade to the new version due to the big mess it has.

Decades who have taken over command of RangerBoard refuses to upgrade to the new version as well because of the new look and possible mess that might occur.

I don't think Mike (The Master) from RangerTalk is going to upgrade to the new version either (I think he already knows about the mess that happened at RangerCrew (he is a member there but doesn't go there often...pops there once in awhile).

If this board does upgrade, some of you guys might not like the new look but probably get used to it after awhile. The bugs I know about. What were the complaints that members had about features? I know some fixes have been issued for 4.0 quite offten.

I know it's a drastic change as far as it looks for the forum (and also things not seen as well). So while were at it what does everyone think of the look of 4?

I got bored and made an alternate version of the logo. I used Jayse's basic outline of the idea and extreme-ified it. I don't want to hijack the thread, but I'll post it if anyone's interested.
