I watched the X-Men movie recently and was startled at how some of the elements reminded me of Mystic Force. In fact, I now believe that the character of Nick was based off of movie Logan/Wolverine. They have the same personalty and the parallel is glaringly obvious in the good-bye scene when Nick left his blanket with Madison as a promise that he would return. Logan left his dog tags with Rogue as his promise. There were probably more but I would have to watch Mystic Force to make more and I don't want to. XD

Has anyone else noticed these things?

I didn't notice before, but I can certainly see how you made the connection! Very interesting. I also haven't seen more than 8-10 episodes of MF though so I can't really elaborate but I see personality traits in Nick that were consistant with Logan. I liked Logan better, in all fairness, but I forgot about the dog tags which does seem to parallel the blanket.... Hmmm.

It might very well be, but I also noticed the theme that there is a war going on that normal people don't even know about and that the magical creatures hide from humans out of fear.

But seriously, Nick reminds me of Logan!

well yeah but that could be aliens as well actually. Like a bunch of kyrptonians an stuff on smallvile or anything like that. I can however see your point about the similarites.
