- You'll have a ton of new weapons to choose from including an axe, a hammer, a mace, a spear, 2 different sword types, a spear axe, and 2 smaller blades
- You CAN swim
- Da Vincis workshop is in the game
- Locations include Saint Marks Basilica, The Grand Canal, The Little Canal, and the Rialto bridge.
- The game opens in 1476, Altair is from 1191
- So you do indeed play as a new ancestor of Altair / Desmond
-You will see the countryside of Tuscany
- The "Auditore" family is mentioned
- The main characters name is Ezio Auditore de Firenze
- He is a nobleman of Florence
- Big characters are in the game including Machiavelli, Caterina Sofrza, and Lorenzo de Medici
- YOU DO INDEED GLIDE on Da Vincis flying machine.
- Game will feature a new notoriety system that governs how enemy soldiers and people will treat you.
- You can disarm enemies and use their own weapons against them this time.
- Each weapon has a special move.
- 16 unique mission types.
- No more ease dropping or pick pocketing missions.
- If you get beat up to much you will need to see a street side doctor to regain full strength.
- Hidden objects (like flags in the first one) are there to uncover but this time if you track them down you will get in-game bonuses that make it worth your time.
- Items include, flags, statues, and gold coins and more that isnt mentioned.
- New enemy types with unique attitudes and weaknesses are present in the game. Archers are mentioned, as well as elite enemies, dagger wielders, "Brutish" armored troops with heavy armor and 2 handed swords and axes, and an intelligent halberd enemy will probe hiding places with their weapons if they think you're near by.
- While hiding in a hay bail you can assassinate people this time, but it may expose your position.
- You can still climb towers and ride horses
- The Lorendo de Medici assassination attempt is in the game.
- There is now a night and day sequence in the game.
- 240 people are working on this title.

Yep. Altair and all other Asassin's remove their ring finger. There's a word for it but I forgot. >_> lol

This is interesting cause Ezio does have his finger.... Maybe the creed has different tenets now that it's almost 400 years later.

Removing the finger makes it easier for the hidden blade to come out.

Oh well. XD besides this guy has two!!

Anywho I shall be playing it yet again! Also Dustin, the 360 had glitches too so lets hope they make it work right on launch and not have to patch it as much as the first one.

that guy looks like a total bad-ass..tho i am gonna miss Altair/Desmond....how are they gonna continue Altair's storyline then?? there was so much missing in the first one tho...hmm...well just have to find out then don't we! :D

Well Angie he's still related to Altair and Desmond so I'm sure he'll mention Altair and I think Desmond will control Ezio much like he did Altair with the Animus.

I'm so excited about this coming out. The scans are amazing! ^-^ I loved the first one so i'll be waiting to play this one. Ezio looks nice! ^-^

Okay so in 20 days we'll be getting our hands on AC2 one of the most hotly anticipated games this year. (I know it is for me!)

I shall!! *points to my name* I'm really interested in Ezio's story he's much more badass than Altair IMO. And the fact that we get less Desmond is a plus.. Walking around and talking to Veronica mars was boring to me. I'd rather climb buildings and assassinate peeps.

actually i read in Game Informer that desmond will be doing alot more than just walking and talking to Lucy. We find out why Desmond was taking and the history behind his assassin ancestory. Lucy i believe is also part of an assassin history too.

Ezio seems alot more bad ass than Altair, but that's because he can do more than his counterpart. Altair wasn't able to swim, steal the enemies weapons, fly a flying machine. Though Ezio first doesn't start off as an assassin i believe. I think he was like a merchant and then he was forced into being an assassin or something like that.

I read there will be more missions than before. 200 missions for the entire game. 100 main missions and then 100 side missions. Also they took out some things from the previous game too.

But i pre-ordered it so now i get an extra level as well as the Palace of Medici or whatever it was...i can't remember what it was! i'm stoked for this game. lol...

when it comes out, u guys won't be seeing me for a long time! lol...

That makes two of us Angie Assassin's Creed is something that shouldn't be rushed so it's a good thing to take your time with it.

His family is betrayed and hung. So Ezio vows revenge. The only way to do this is the be trained as an assassin something his father Giovanni was.

As the game progresses he goes from a young casanova to a badass master assassin, as his father before him and so on and so forth.

My boyfriend has this on his gaming queue, and he is uber thrilled about its impending release. I can't say that I've played the first one, but I've watched him and his friends play it; it looks like a pretty interesting game.

This morning I no finished getting all the damn glyphs. The Puzzles are a night mare to say the least! Finding them is just as bad!

there gotta be a glyph in Santa Maria Novella in Florence however, i already got all the treasure and the round thingy which atm i forgot what it was called...go figure, but i didn't find the glyph in it...i'm totally passed it and i can't get back into the secret location, tho, does anyone remember what it was called before hand so i can go back and re-play it???

i hope that makes sense...>_>

No need. If you think you missed a glyph pull up your menu then go to locations then look for the icon with the eye. If it's dimmed then you have it, if it's viable then you need to get it.

The turning puzzles were the worst of the bunch some how I just raged it and got them to work. XD

I'm starting to collect the feathers. I'm at 49/100 just taking a break before I tackle Forli and the big boy Venice which has over 40. X_X

i beat the game fri and all i have to say is DAMN!! that was a freakin' awesome cliffhanger and i'm so mad that i now have to wait another 2 years for the last one!! lol...i was so not prepared for that!! it was freakin' awesome!

I'm sure they'll be milking it beyond the planned trilogy, Angie don't worry. But the ending alone was amazing.

The only part that was a little boring was getting to use the apple on Ezio when the clones did NOTHING!!!

Story wise it's top notch and I want three nao!

Oh I know the clones were only good for distracting Borgia so I could get a cheap shot on him. I mean he always blocked! >_> And with me I didn't like fighting I prefer my good ol hidden blades. But for that fight stealth wasn't much of an option.

But it's suck to have to wait 2 or more years for 3. I love this franchise so much!!

The last battle totally reminded me of AC1 when we were fighting against the head assassin..*i totally forgot his name...>_>* when he did the clone thingy...I thought that was uncalled for. The clones didn't do anything so why have them? They didn't even distract Rodrigo...oh well....However Altair's armor is sweet!!! tho for some odd reason, the armor doesn't hold a knife or a sword!! O_O wtf???

so has anyone found all the feathers??? Cuz atm, i'm trying to find them all since i want to know what Ezio's little brother wanted them for...even tho he's dead....O_O so why do we still need them??? lol....

Yup I got them all. If you get them Ezio has a touching moment with his mom and you get the final cape to get the last trophy/achievement.

They never did explain why Petruccio wanted to collect the feathers. But as Jayse said, he does have a touching moment with his mother in the villa after all 100 are collected. And I mean it's not super hard to collect them anyway. And I had fun doing it oddly enough.

So here's all I know so far. Altair's hunting down Templars. Remember Maria? Yeah she's back and helps Altair get to the first island of Cyprus. So it turns out the Templars got a new leader and they're retreating to something called the Templar Archive, I think but yeah some of the cut scenes involve Altair writing in a journal about the Apple of Eden.
