They have IP banned people who uploaded Toei videos at their site. The shows and movies are disappearing off the site. This is a huge disappointment for me because that is where I did most of my watching.

This sucks. :(

Edit: Infringing copyrighted videos or something like that

That message comes from one of the people who was suspended/banned.

What the crap?! Why

I don't know. My favorite uploader Raikirichidori is banned. I had over ten pages of episodes of Kamen Rider Den-0, Magiranger, and Shinkenger . . . it is now down to two(pretty much just one). My Agito favs have not been touched but it is only a matter of time.

Maybe the are only going after the people who are uploading the new series like Shinkenger, Decade, and Double.

Veoh is at it again..?

Why aren't I surprised... They did that shit to me some years ago when I was uploading Faiz subbed... Even though I think that TV-Nihon asked for that one, despite other people uploading Faiz subbed (from TV-Nihon just to add) as well...

Oh well... Toei is literally on a war path, I mean first Youtube, then torrents and now Veoh for the current Toku shows..?

I pray that they won't shut down megaupload or anything

I doubt they'll shut down Megaupload. They may remove files quicker but remember people will just put them back up.

It sucks about veoh though that's how I saw Agito. >_<

Good thing I don't watch KR anymore. >_>

But in all seriousness I saw all of my rider shows on there. Shame that they're doing this dick move.

What Toei needs to realize is that at least some of us would be VERY willing to buy these shows on DVD if they would ever release a Region 1 version with English Subtitles. I know I would!

Or a Region Free for that matter...

I mean seriously, Toei is missing out on an opportunity... By having people from OUTSIDE Japan watching Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, Toei is getting in an extra income... Not in terms of tv ratings or DVD sales, but through toy sales... I mean there are fans among us all that truly enjoy watching the shows that they end up buying the merchandise via online sites like Bigbadtoystore, Hobby Link Japan, CS-International, etc who get their stuff via Bandai... Thus Bandai (of Japan) sells a lot more then normally from which the profit goes to not only BoJ but also to Toei, same goes to album/CD sales

Either way, I know that Toei is protecting their product, but they need to think a bit further and look at the gold mine that are the Toku fans stationed outside of Japan/Asia

Just to note: I am looking at this from an Economic and Trading & Administration standpoint/point of view (this being for what I've graduated for/at of course)

Wrong Toku is a niche market in the US.besides they can't release Sentai here cause Disny owns the rights to the footage*Anybody remember what happened when Media Blasters tried to release the old Sentai programs here?*Not sure about Kamen Rider though*since the First film has been released here*

The only way I'd ever be fine with Toei's actions is if they were supplying us with a decent alternative.

I mean, they have already made a partnership with Crunchyroll and are already hosting a few of their anime series there. So, why not their tokusatsu?
