Anime recommendation thread

Okay I was thinking earlier about some new anime so I figure i'd ask. (anyone can just ask in this thread not just me.)

Anyway i'm looking for two types of anime: Mecha (as Gravion, Aquarion ect) and also something along the lines of Tekkaman and Guyver.

Even good random ones work so anyone know of anything out there?

For Mecha, I would recommened Dancouga Nova if you haven't seen that one yet
For Humanoid... Maybe the 3 OVA Devilman anime..?

with mecha I say try vandread and full metal panic if you have not already they are quite good.

there is this one I know of but I can't find english subs for it....or I'm not trying hard enough XD thats kinda what your looking for it's called linebarrels of iron......it looks cool but again I haven't found any subs for it.

oh also Gurren Lagann that is a awesome mecha anime it's out here in the sates if you just want to buy the DVD's because the torrents for it would be old and or dead.

also for anyone out there thats looking for a random funny anime check out K-ON it's about this group of high scghool girl that start a rock band and the twist is none of them know how to play XD it's just funny.....

well on adult swim they are bringing back Moribito: Guardian of the spirit, and i fell in love with it on the first episode! very good, tho it's not mecha since that's what ur looking for, but meh, to bad! :p

So I've been on kind of a dry spell with the anime watching lately and was wondering what a good suggestion would be for me? I like mecha and what not and comedy! So any ideas?

For once I do know an anime! Most of us have seen it and it's on netflix. Aquarion. It's a short series but it's awesome.

Oh and it's a mech series.
